First floor penthouse apartment situated right in the centre of Cala D'Or within walking to distance to three beaches and all the restaurants, shops and cafeterias in the area. Ideal for a couple with two children. Or for a romantic getaway. Set back from the road and surrounded by a huge covered and open terrace. A place to sip wine and watch the people walk by. One double bedroom, one small single bedroom with bunk beds, one shower,, living-dining room and open plan kitchen. Air-con in main bedroom and living room. Quite charming. WINTER LETS : ideal if you are looking to get away from the cold and are looking for a quiet month in Cala D'Or. Please check monthly prices. Cala D'Or in the winter is very quiet as no hotels are open and only a very few business remain open too and life drifts by quietly giving time to explore the rest of the island and enjoy the softer winter sun. It does rain occasionally so don't expect full sunshine every day though!

About The Owner

I live in France with my husband and my daughter...we work there and come here on holiday every year. We love Cala d Or and we have made a lot of friends. We find our apartment an ideal place to come as it is close to everything. My daughter who is 6 finds this property ideal as it has a super large and safe terrace for her to play and it is so close to the beaches. We thoroughly enjoy watching the people pass by and in the evening it is throughly entertaining.When we come here we can both have fun and relax not having to worry about renting a car and can walk to all the restaurants, bars and cafeterias in the centre or down by the marina and for shopping we just go downstairs and there is a supermarket right across the road!. We sincerely hope you can enjoy it too.

Why The Owner chose Migjorn Region

We had an apartment in Cala Egos, but sold this year so as to be able to purchase an apartment in the Centre of Cala D'Or so as not to have to rent a car when we came and be close to everything. We love the centre as it is just so practical in every aspect and also because we have friends and family nearby.

What makes this apartment unique

The benefits this property provides are it's location. Close to absolutely everything. The beach, the centre, the shops, the restaurants, bars, cafeterias and even the Marina of Cala D'Or. It is a top floor apartment on the first floor with no direct neighbours on three sides. The terrace is totally private and is not at all overlooked.

Outside: Large covered terrace and open terrace area with tables and chairs for outdoor eating. Very private and comfortable. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning before arrival and on departure. Linen changed weekly, no beach towels provided.

Great flat, would definitely stay again!

I would recommend, without hesitation, this property to anyone, most especially families; it is a cosy place to relax/recuperate in, convenient for everything in Cala d'Or, and great as a base to explore the E/SE part of Mallorca from.

The flat is just the right size for 2 adults and 2 kids (ours were 8 and 5 at the time); the beds and living room area are comfy, the terrace is secure (locked gate and obscured view), the A/C is a blessing after a few hours down at Cala Gran (much better than most of the advertised beaches) and the TV/DVD player is great for the kids. The flat is on the edge of the restaurant area (don't worry - there is no noise), right between the 2 main beaches (2 or 3 minute walk), yards from a supermarket, and the road opposite and to the left (Carrer Marques Comillas) is good for free parking (morning and afternoon is easiest).

And lastly, but not leastly, Wendy met us with the keys on day 1, and from the 1st moment was a great help to us throughout our stay. Very quick to respond to communication and to assist with any queries we had - even if it was to ask where the best coffee was to be found. Thanks Wendy!
