Le Moulin is a restored 16th Century olive oil mill situated minutes away from the village of charming, medieval Cotignac. This self catering apartment was designed to incorporate the wonderful Provencal light and views to the private garden can be seen from every window. The architect combined the old olive mill wall with a modern living space which gives the apartment a relaxing, quiet ambiance.

Why Vivien Henderson chose Brignoles region

The family fell in love with the village many years ago and when the opportunity arose to buy an apartment within this restored 16th Century olive mill it seemed too good to be true. The apartment is set minutes away from the heart of this charming village which never fails to weave a magical spell. Easy for the bustling market on Tuesdays, but peaceful by the pool in the afternoons.

What makes this apartment unique

One of the joys of this property is the proximity to the village, so the butcher, baker and candlestick maker, even the doctor are close by.

We had a wonderful stay at the Moulin and have taken home so lovely memories. The apartment is welcoming, cozy and very thoughtfully equipped and there was a great selection of books and guides available. The terrace was a delight and it was so nice to be able to sit out overlooking the beautiful gardens and listening to the river and the cigales. The kids loved the swimming pool which was perfect for our 6 year old who was keen to learn to swim and for our 5 year old who is not so keen and had plenty of room to paddle. We loved the village (literally a minute walk away) also and found the locals to be charming and very helpful. The boulangerie up the four steps on the left on the way into the village had the most amazing bread and the pizzas at les trois marches were lovely. All in all a fantastic holiday and we can't wait to return.

Booking Notes:
After initial queries have been answered a non refundable deposit of a third of the total amount is requested to confirm the booking. The balance is expected 6 weeks before the date of departure. I also request a refundable breakage deposit of £300.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible with a request for renters to leave at 10am and new arrivals to arrive no earlier than 4pm.
