Hello, Welcome to Kirke's cottage which has been in our family since I was a child. I have spent many a happy carefree holiday here with my family and now invite you to share in its peaceful setting. I live in England, and you will be looked after by friends of the family who look after Kirkes for me.
What makes this cottage unique
You enjoy, peace and quite, neighbors who will pass the time of day with you. Able to walk to the local pub (2/3 minute walk), go for walks, be they using the roads trekking the hillsides, or climbing the Blue Stack mountains. The coast is only a wee short drive away, and there you will find many unspoilt beaches, take a picnic and spend the day there we do.
In Ballybofey/Stranorlar you have a huge selection of shops to choose from, Lidl, Aldi, Supervalu, Costcutter and loads of others. On your doorstep (in a 2 mile radius) are two local shops ideal for milk bread and the paper.

I along with my 2 sons had the pleasure of staying in kirkes cottage for a week last summer. It was a home away from home, clean, cosy and welcoming. It was the perfect base for a week spent exploring the wonders of Donegal. Alasdair gave us a lovely welcome and directed us to great fishing spots, which we made great use of. There is a very friendly pub with free wifi less than 5 minutes from the front door, we were made feel very welcome there. Looking to book again for a break this summer
Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings. Very handy for traveling thoughout Donegal. Cottage very clean and cosy. The neighbours very friendly though not intrusive. Nice friendly little pub within five minute walk. Would recommend this for anyone wanting a nice quiet holiday. Five star rating from me.
Gorgeous, cosy cottage
Kirke's cottage is a home from home. Beautiful cosy warm cottage with open fires and a massive back garden. I would recommend this cottage to anyone! the view is a complete 360 view from all the windows. I will definitely be returning.
I along with my husband recently stayed at Kirkes Cottage , Co Donegal and had a wonderful holiday. It was spotless, well maintained, extremely well equipped and the furnishings and bed linen etc. was very good quality. From our first contact with the owner, Dawn, through to arriving at the cottage to be met by Alisdair the whole experience was very pleasant and courteous. Also we were given 2 contact phone No's in case we needed anything. I would thoroughly recommend Kirkes cottage to anyone who wants a peaceful relaxing holiday.
