This spacious apartment is situated in the very heart of the Sotogrande Marina, just step out of the apartment and you are 2 minutes from the beach. In Sotogrande you will find excellent bars, cafes, restaurants, beach clubs, shops. Just a few minute's walk from the apartment is the Torreguadiaro Beach with its famous Chiringitos (Beach restaurants), a short water taxi trip away on the other side of the Marina is a more secluded semi-private beach, Playa Paseo Del Mar. And if you are looking for sporting activities, there are world famous golf courses, polo fields, horse riding clubs, tennis - both clay and hard courts, a gym, health clubs and of course sail boats for charter and sailing schools.

About Wayne Robinson

Born in York UK, moved to Hong Kong 1980, lived here ever since. Living by the sea and sailing 12 months of the year is not an easy thing to give up - especially sailing to places in Philippines, Macau, China and Vietnam. Sailing is what drew us to discover Sotogrande. One summer in the late 90's, along with my family I chartered a yacht from Gibraltar and we sailed to many wonderful places; Ceuta, & Smur, Morocco, Puerto Banus. The day we sailed into Sotogrande we were smitten. And we've been coming back each summer ever since, eventually buying our apartment as base for chartering and sailing around the region - as well as being a place to finally retire to one day.

We only manage to visit Sotogrande once a year as it’s a real long haul from Hong Kong but when we are there we still manage to find new treasures to explore. Like the cave art paintings in the Pileta Caves, or the ruins of Bela Claudia, both of which we've only discovered in recent years.

There is lots to do in Sotogrande however sailing remains my main passion – and so if I'm sometimes a bit slow with my replies, its usually because I'm off sailing somewhere!

What I see in my apartment is that it lies in the very centre of a wonderfully architectured paradise with plenty of Bars & Great Restaurants. The Marina is the main attraction for me, its life, its bustle and all the activities related to boats and boating people. However it’s not just that, there is a wide variety of other activities to be had to suit everyone. Just to name a few, Golf, there is a huge selection of courses in and around Sotogrande - far too many to list here. Horse riding & Polo is available too. There are Paddle & Tennis courts, as well as gym's, fitness & Yoga centres, and all of this sits between two wonderful beaches where you can find every water activity you can ever think of.

And all of this is available just a few minutes from our apartment with its wonderful views of the Marina.

Clean, spacious and in a great location

We had a great week. Checking in/out was easy, the apartment was very central and the underground parking was very convenient. Nice, bright, clean apartment.

Excellent apartment in a great location

My husband and I spent 10 nights in this lovely 2 bed/2 bath apartment in Sotogrande. It is located in the Marina with a fantastic view of the boats and directly across the road from the beach, which we went to most days. There is a very large balcony which is perfect for pre or apres dinner drinks and it gets the sun in the late afternoon/early evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Wayne and Arthur were really helpful from the time we made the booking up to our arrival. We will definitely go back there again.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

The is a great apartment . It is bright and airy with plenty of space and all the amenities you could wish for. The position of the apartment means that you can sit on the balcony in glorious sunshine from about 5pm onwards. Ideal for that quick G&T before supper.

We had some very hot weather during our stay and the apartment was a cool haven after a day out. The underground car parking space means that you can also get into a cool car when you set off.

The directions to the apartment provided by the owner are excellent and Arthur the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is very well positioned for the beach (just across the road), Gibraltar (20 mins in the car). A trip to Ronda takes about 1hour 40 mins but is well worth the effort.

As the apartment is located on the Marina it's a joy to walk round and look at the lovely boats. This also means that there are several bars and restaurants which have lovely views and are easily accessible on foot.

We particularly found the restaurant opposite the entrance to the apartment (think it was called Portobello) excellent service and food.

We had a lovely holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to others.
