About Richard Thomasson

Richard and Francesca Thomasson have lived and worked abroad for a number of years and they bought the house in 2014 for their eventual retirement.

Both Richard and Francesca have family connections in Kent and they love all that Canterbury has to offer and the convenience of the cross-channel terminals and London, all within easy reach, and of course the beautiful Kent countryside and coasts.

beautiful house, great location

We spent 2 weeks with our 3 children in this house. It is a beautiful place with a garden and good parking. Furniture, towels, kitchen appliances etc. are all of good quality. The house is beautifully furnished. It is rather new and well- maintained. It was very clean when we arrived. The house looked even better than expected.

The neighbourhood is nice. It is close to the town centre (within walking distance) but quiet.

This place offers good value for the price and I would highly recommend it. We would like to come back!!!

Lovely property close to Canterbury centre

Very well equipped and beautifully maintained property, ten minutes walk from Canterbury centre. Parking outside the house for two cars. The owners of the property are very quick to respond to any requests and the neighbors are very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay in Canterbury. The house was clean, well equipped and within walking distance of Canterbury centre. It was a real home from home, and we would recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Excellent!!!

Booking process was seamless and excellent communication from Richard and Francesca throughout. House was immaculate and very comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen and lovely bathrooms. The garden room was lovely to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine and the bottle of wine left for us was a nice touch and very well received!!!

The location is great to get into Canterbury and the house made a lovely base for a weeks break with the children. Great house in a quiet location with lovely neighbors and cannot recommend enough!!

Excellent

This house is absolutely lovely, it is very well-equipped with everything you could possible need or want. It was also very clean, comfortable, warm, modern and welcoming, in fact we can't recommend it highly enough. It is in a beautiful little cul-de-sac and is within easy walking distance of the city centre which makes it ideal in location. Richard and Francesca made the booking process a pleasure as they are quick to respond to any questions or queries you may have and the house information pack is really useful. Even the neighbours are friendly! We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house and hope to return again.

Further Details:

The house is located to the south of Canterbury city centre which has sight-seeing, shopping and restaurants to suit all tastes. The city centre is a 10 minutes walk and there is a regular bus service to the city centre with a stop by the Mews. Kent County Cricket ground and a well-stocked Sainsbury’s local store are around the corner.
