2-bed Villa/Townhouse situated on the corner of the popular Vilabranca resort in a quiet residential area of Lagos. Spacious villa-style townhouse (approx 1500 sq ft) with 2 en-suite bathrooms + downstairs toilet, front and back gardens (with BBQ) with parking directly in front of property. Located 10-15 mins walk to Lagos towncentre, 10-15 mins walk to the beautiful cove beaches south of Lagos or to the quieter beach of Porto de Mos. Within the complex are 2 swimming pools and a restaurant/cafe bar.

Wifi internet access requires voucher from Vilabranca reception and cost's 1€/day.

Great Villa

We had a great relaxing stay at no 20 Vilabranca the accommodation had everything to make the stay wonderful.

Hugely enjoyable stay at Vilabranca

The accommodation was even better than we expected. It was clean, well positioned with great amenities. The owner's communication was excellent throughout. Particularly with his directions from the airport and advice on car hire. It's about a 15 minute walk into the historic old town, where we had some lovely meals and enjoyed the buzz of being among a truly cosmopolitan holiday crowd from all over Europe. Great nightlife as well for my son and his mate. Beaches were excellent, particularly Praia de Batada where the waves were enormous and great fun.

Excellent villa

We have just had a five week stay at this lovely villa and I have to say it provided all we needed for a great holiday.Spacious and comfortable the property was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we were particularly impressed by the level of equipment , the owner seems to have thought of everything including UK plug adaptors , umbrellas ( not needed ) and an extensive video library. Although being adjacent to one of the swimming pools the front and rear gardens are not overlooked and offer plenty of opportunities for al fresco dining. Vilabranca is in a quiet location about a ten minute walk from Lagos Old Town , with it myriad of shops bars and restaurants , and a similar distance to the nearest beach , to explore further it is fun to take the Toy Train which visits all the main attractions and beaches.

We would certainly recommend this excellent villa and look forward to returning soon.

Excellent Villa

A well appointed villa with all you could need for your stay. An excellent base for exploring the wider Algarve coast. Easy access to Lagos town (5 minute drive) and larger supermarkets / shops, also good local supermarket right outside Vilabranca entrance. Excellent beaches all along the west Algarve coast, all within a reasonable drive from this villa.

Excellent Holiday

We have stayed at this villa several times now, and have always had a delightful stay. Neat and clean on arrival, the beds are comfy, the lounge and kitchen well-equipped, and the patio catches plenty of sun!

We love Vilabranca and the local area - 2 onsite pools so always somewhere for a quiet swim, excellent freshly-baked rolls from the shop over the road, Porto de Mos beach nearby, and Boavista Golf Club 10 mins in the car. I’m sure we will visit again soon!

Coast/Beach:

Located 10 minutes walk from the beautiful cove beaches south of Lagos or 10-15 minutes walk to the quieter beach of Porto de Mos.

Travel:

Faro is the closest airport. It is about 50-minutes drive to Lagos. Taxis are available outside the terminal near the arrivals concourse. Buses run from Faro's centre to Lagos, 7 times a day weekdays, twice a day on Sundays and National Holidays. Journey by bus takes 2 hrs 20 mins. Trains operate more frequently and take 1hr 50 mins.

Further Details:

A local bus (azul linea 2, blue line no. 2) runs hourly from outside the Vilabranca complex into town stopping at several beaches, including Meia Praia, the Marina and the train station (http://futurlagos.pt/en/onda.php?lid=2.) and is inexpensive.
