This is a modern 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom air-conditioned first floor apartment built in a secure condominium development in central Lagos within 5 mins walk of the marina, promenade and town center with it's shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The apartment has a large balcony area with a built in BBQ overlooking the condominium's swimming pool. It also has a large secure underground parking and a children's play area. Minutes from local supermarkets, the apartment is a perfect base to explore Lagos from and is only a 15 minutes walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. For those of you who are interested in golf the apartment is a 5 minutes drive from Boa Vista and with easy access to the many breathtaking golf courses of the Algarve. If you don't have a car, the apartment is 2 min away from the central bus station and 5 min walk to the train station. This flat is a wonderful family holiday retreat. If you wish to stay in, the apartment has a good size LCD TV with 100 channels including English language as well as Portuguese, and other European language channels. There is also a DVD player for playing any DVDs that you bring. It also benefits from fast fibre optic broadband with wifi.

Return to Portugal

This was our first time back to Lagos since covid and it was lovely to return. The apartment had everything we needed but we all struggled with the very hard pillows. Everything else was perfect.

Wonderful

As advertised. Large clean apartment with all utensils that you require if wanting to cook in. Marina a short walk away and the town with plenty of restaurants a bit further. This was our first time back to this complex in 3 years because of covid, and we pick this as it is conveniently located. Only slight negative is that the huge balcony isn't a sun trap, but not a problem for me as I can't sit in direct sun. It was still nice and warm in the shade, and there is always the large swimming pool and surrounding area full of loungers to use. Still give five stars and would recommend.

2nd stay here and won't be my last!

I stayed in this same apartment 3 years ago and will look to book for my next holiday in Lagos. The apartment is spotless, huge balcony and has everything you could wish for. Location is fantastic.

About the host

Your host

We live in England in the East Midlands and have visited Portugal for many years. When visiting the Algarve it was mainly to Lagos with our Portuguese friends in the early years. It was a mere fishing village with the sardines being barbequed in the streets. We all stayed in an apartment overlooking the sea. The children loved Mia Praia beach with it's wonderful sandy beach. Lagos and Tavira have maintained much of their rich heritage and culture despite the pressures of tourism. We had never visited the East side until about eight years ago.We were staying at the Vila Gale Hotel when we first saw the apartments being built from our hotel window. We fell in love with Tavira as well and all the family have been visiting both apartments.
The Algarve has much to offer and a good climate.

Why they chose this property

I have been coming to Portugal with my husband since the 1960's and fell in love with it back then. It has changed quite a bit but still retains its charm and heritage with its excellent beaches. The apartment now provides a holiday base for my grandchildren. It has a very large balcony enabling you to sunbathe easily and you and your friends can dine with ease. The children have plenty of room to play. We hope you enjoy it too.

What makes this property unique

Being in the centre absolutely everything is within walking distance. The large balcony is a bonus and the children love the very big Swimming Pool and play area.
