Apartment in Lagos, Western Algarve, Portugal - Secure Condominium Minutes From The Town Centre And Well Positioned For The Marina And Beaches

This is a modern 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom air-conditioned first floor apartment built in a secure condominium development in central Lagos within 5 mins walk of the marina, promenade and town center with it's shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The apartment has a large balcony area with a built in BBQ overlooking the condominium's swimming pool. It also has a large secure underground parking and a children's play area. Minutes from local supermarkets, the apartment is a perfect base to explore Lagos from and is only a 15 minutes walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. For those of you who are interested in golf the apartment is a 5 minutes drive from Boa Vista and with easy access to the many breathtaking golf courses of the Algarve. If you don't have a car, the apartment is 2 min away from the central bus station and 5 min walk to the train station. This flat is a wonderful family holiday retreat. If you wish to stay in, the apartment has a good size LCD TV with 100 channels including English language as well as Portuguese, and other European language channels. There is also a DVD player for playing any DVDs that you bring. It also benefits from fast fibre optic broadband with wifi.

About Hazel Zaman

We live in England in the East Midlands and have visited Portugal for many years. When visiting the Algarve it was mainly to Lagos with our Portuguese friends in the early years. It was a mere fishing village with the sardines being barbequed in the streets. We all stayed in an apartment overlooking the sea. The children loved Mia Praia beach with it's wonderful sandy beach. Lagos and Tavira have maintained much of their rich heritage and culture despite the pressures of tourism. We had never visited the East side until about eight years ago.We were staying at the Vila Gale Hotel when we first saw the apartments being built from our hotel window. We fell in love with Tavira as well and all the family have been visiting both apartments.

The Algarve has much to offer and a good climate.

Why Hazel Zaman chose Lagos region

I have been coming to Portugal with my husband since the 1960's and fell in love with it back then. It has changed quite a bit but still retains its charm and heritage with its excellent beaches. The apartment now provides a holiday base for my grandchildren. It has a very large balcony enabling you to sunbathe easily and you and your friends can dine with ease. The children have plenty of room to play. We hope you enjoy it too.

What makes this apartment unique

Being in the centre absolutely everything is within walking distance. The large balcony is a bonus and the children love the very big Swimming Pool and play area.

Notes on accommodation: A cot or highchair can be arranged at an additional cost. There are communal loungers provided around the shared pool. There is a small secure play area for children. There is a lift from outside the flat to the ground floor or secure underground car park. The apartment is close to the shops restaurants and bars of historic central Lagos. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but you can smoke on the large terrace. Outside: The condominium is built around a secure central shared garden and pool with a children's play area. The pool is quite large and loungers are supplied around the pool. The pool and landscaped gardens have all day sun. The flat itself has a large terrace area overlooking the communal gardens and pool. The main terrace runs from outside bedroom 2, along the length of the living/dining room and opens up on the side of the living room into a large outdoor dining area with access to the the built in BBQ and the kitchen. Because the terrace is large and deep, it provides a cooler shaded outdoor space to relax in during the summer heat. There are additional smaller balconies on bedroom 1 and bedroom 3. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will be cleaned and prepared for arrival, includes towels (not beach towels) and all linen. Stays for longer than 7 days will have a change of linen and towels. Stays under 7 days will incur an additional 65€ cleaning charge. Other: There is secure underground parking for 2 vehicles

lovely apartments

Apartment is really lovely and ideally placed for the bustling town of Lagos. This first floor apartment has a lovely veranda overlooking the pool and the quietest air-conditioning we have ever encountered. My two teenage girls loved the pool and no problems with sunbeds. there are 2 big supermarkets over the road and a lovely little snack bar.

Really nice place would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely place

I have just stayed (29/09/14 to 04/10/14) a week in this property, and the place is lovely, very nicely decorated, with all modern amenities, and also very close to city center, super markets, etc.

All was great and in place. Even the small problem we had with the shower was quickly resolved by the real estate agent.

Highly recommended, mainly for big families or more than one family who wants to stay in a nice and quite place, but close to everything.
