Apartment in Marazion, Cornwall, England - Less Than 5 Minutes Walk To The Small Town Where There Are Fantastic Shops, Pubs And Restaurants

Mount's Bay which is a haven for waters sports enthusiasts of all kinds where you can watch kite surfers, windsurfers, and yachts out in the bay. Located two minutes from the beach, at low tide you can walk across the cobbled causeway to the majestic St Michaels Mount and discover the medieval castle, sub-tropical gardens and cafe. Marazion is one of the oldest towns in the UK. It is very small and full of traditional charm with a mixture of galleries, cafes, good pubs and restaurants all within just five minutes walking distance of the apartment. Just a few hundred yards inland there is also marshland which supports rare birds and several hundred species of plants, attracting Twitchers from all over the country. Penzance and Mousehole are both a short drive away and offer interesting shops to browse and places to eat. There are many great places to visit within a half hour drive including: St Ives which has a thriving art scene, quirky shops, galleries and lots of fabulous restaurants; the open-air Minack Theatre, cut from the granite cliff face and jutting out to sea (great for both sight-seeing and watching a performance); iconic Land's End, famed for its legendary coastline and the Lizard Peninsula with magnificent coastal walks and fantastic coves including Kynance and Poldhu. If you want to travel further afield, within an hour's drive are Truro, Falmouth and the Eden Project. The Scilly Isles are also accessible by boat or plane.

Why Lisa Hilton chose South West Cornwall

We have been visiting West Cornwall for over 10 years, in particular around the Marazion area. As we loved spending so much time here we decided to buy a second home here. Initially we were looking for a bigger property, slightly inland, however the moment we saw Beach Haven on the estate agent's website we fell in love with it. It is light and airy, perfect size for 2 people, but most of all the stunning view from the window and balcony. To have a view of the sea and magnificent St Michael's Mount is truly amazing!

What makes this apartment unique

Beach Haven is lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the beach, sea and St Michael's Mount. Located 2 minutes from the beach and less than 5 minutes from the town centre, although is is a very small town. Whilst Marazion is a very small town it has a few shops, cafes, pubs and good eating places.

Sometimes we stay local and just relax and unwind however it is a great base for exploring with St Ives, Mousehole, Lands End and Lizard Peninsula a drive away.

Beach haven is light, spacious and welcoming with unparalleled views of St Michael's Mount and the sea. It is superbly located, only a stones throw from the beach. Marazion is just a short walk from the apartment with interesting shops and eating places. A convenient base for visiting other Cornish attractions. we will certainly be staying at Beach Haven again! Outside: Spacious sitting room with French doors leading out to the balcony which affords wonderful views over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Furniture is provided to allow guests to enjoy alfresco dining or a glass of wine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Price includes electricity, heating, linen and towels. Other: Parking is arranged and paid for (by the owner) in the nearby car park approximately two hundred yards away. Unfortunately no pets, no smoking and no children. Apartment does not have a garden area but does have a balcony where guests can sit out.

Fantastic apartment

We absolutely loved this apartment. It's light, airy and with everything included you could possibly need. The view over St. Michaels Mount is spectacular and Marazion provides an ideal base to explore Cornwall. We especially enjoyed our trips to the Minack Theatre and a nearby copper mine. Marazion itself has some lovely little shops and restaurants and we were made to feel welcome wherever we went. We would definitely recommend this apartment to others and hope to return ourselves.

Great location!

Beach Haven is in a lovely location looking over Mounts Bay. It is ideally placed for exploring West Cornwall...St Ives & Mousehole within 20 minutes. We enjoyed a couple of walks down to Marazion Marsh where we saw flying grey heron & a Little Egret. There's also the convenience of Penzance a couple of miles away for grocery shopping (& M&S not far away in Hayle). The apartment is really well equipped & presented.

Beach Haven.....Exactly what it says on the tin!

Beach Haven is ideally situated in Marazion,it is also perfectly located in a part of Cornwall that makes sightseeing and visiting other parts of Cornwall very easy.

Beach Haven is well maintained and so well equipped that you do not want for anything,as soon as you open the door you immediately feel comfortable.

St.Michaels Mount is a must to visit,the gardens are amazing in a stunning location.

We took in a play one afternoon at the Minack Theatre,another excellent experience in yet another stunning location.

We only ate out once in Marazion and that was at the Cutty Sark (part of Marazion Hotel),we had not booked a table but walked in off of the street and requested a table,we didn't have to wait long before we were accomadated,the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and well priced.

Beach Haven is a must and will be recommended.

We stayed at Beach Haven for our honeymoon and it was amazing. This apartment is a true hidden gem with the outside appearance giving nothing away about the gorgeous interior. Being literally 3 minutes from the beach, the views are understandably stunning whether its beautifully sunny or stormy seas. Beach Haven is beautifully furnished and so comfortable, it was a real home from home. It has everything you could need from brilliant bath and shower, wonderfully warm and comfy bed to the very well stocked kitchen and sofa's for 2 to snuggle up on. We cant praise this apartment highly enough or the kindness of the owners who made us feel extra welcome for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back again and hopefull the weather will be nice enough to be able to sit out on the balcony with a glass of something nice while we take in the views.

Beach Haven is a fantastic spacious apartment for two, the views are amazing and the town of Marazion is just big enough with some really good places to eat. I think this has to be one of the nicest places we have stayed in the UK and were really impressed with all contact we had with the property owners. I would wholeheartedly recommend Beach Haven as a clean, comfortable well equipped holiday base.
