"The Crystal Cave" provides a unique & sophisticated holiday experience for those who love something a little different & with a touch of class.

Our elegant large ground floor 2 bedroom open plan apartment has a private & secluded partly shaded & furnished pool facing patio surrounded by flora & fauna. Perfectly situated for a morning swim prior to breakfast on the patio, where you will be serenaded by our beautiful Cyprus song birds

In the evenings the pool & surrounding area is enchanting with its subtle lighting, providing a magical experience whilst sipping a glass or two of our delightful Cyprus wine or your favourite tipple whilst relaxing on the patio, & perhaps indulge yourself with a swim under a beautiful starlit sky.

The purpose built private BBQ enables Al Fresco evenings Cyprus style. Private sun-loungers with mattresses are provided by the pool for the exclusive use of our Guests so you can relax & catch a few rays, & there is a sun brolly - for when you have caught enough!

The apartment is beautifully furnished throughout, complemented by a touch of class & elegance in the decor. It has a very large open plan lounge, dining & kitchen with air conditioning, ceiling fan & a choice of subtle lighting. It also has a small book library a DVD library & CD's. UK TV & WiFi also provided for our Guests.

The kitchen is well equipped with ample crockery, cutlery, utensils, cooking pots & pans, & has a large fridge freezer, electric hob & oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle & many more items you would not expect to find.

Delightful bedrooms with subtle touch lighting & the highest quality bed linen & towels all provided for our Guests. Built in wardrobes, drawers & shelves, & ample coat hangers also provided.

The first bedroom has patio doors leading directly on to the patio, which overlooks the pool & the pretty flora & fauna. It also has air conditioning & a ceiling fan.

The second bedroom is also beautifully presented & has a ceiling fan & a large stand fan.

Beach towels & tea towels are also provided for our Guests, leaving a little more room in your suitcase.

Winter heating, electric blankets & winter bedding also catered for & winter Guests receive a pair of complementary slippers each & the use of warm velour dressing gowns.

Christmas & New Year Guests, if they so wish, will arrive to a pretty Christmas Tree & decorations, & a bottle of Port, Sherry & Champagne will be included in the Complementary Arrival Pack.

The apartment has a selection of books, DVD's & a radio tuned into the local English Paphos "Sunshine" radio station, which plays a great selection of music, provides information on what is happening in the Paphos area, & up-to-date world as well as local news.

A lovely little supermarket is a 2 minute walk catering for practically everything, including English newspapers, wines, spirits, beer & tobacco. There are two excellent restaurants a 3 & 5 minute walk from the apartment (pre-booking is recommended for both) & many more located in our beautiful Tala Village Square a 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk.

If you are looking for a quiet & peaceful holiday, "The Crystal Cave" is the perfect choice, & only 15 minutes from Paphos with its beautiful promenade & the Medieval Fort, its lively tourist area, & a wonderful selection of eateries, & is central to everything & everywhere in the Paphos district of Cyprus. The rates for 2017 remain the same as those quoted for 2016.

Tala is a beautiful elite village nestled in the hills & central to everywhere. "The Crystal Cave" will appeal to those with a discerning taste & a love of the unique in a charming & peaceful location, & as it is situated by the pool on a private & serene residential complex, there is no influx of children. A beautifully located poolside apartment that really is peaceful & quiet - perfect.

If Guests are planning on meeting up with family or friends, we ask our Guests to request permission for said family/friends to enter the apartment. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the Security Deposit.

We are a professional couple who fell in love with Cyprus on our first visit. We purchased "The Crystal Cave" because it is unique & we try to spend as much time as our busy professional lives allow enjoying the apartment & all that Tala & the beautiful island of Cyprus has to offer.

We would love to spend more time in Cyprus, but work commitments limit our visits. We have therefore opened "The Crystal Cave" to Guests, to enable them to enjoy this unique experience.

We know our Guests will love it as we do, & all we ask is you leave the apartment in the same condition as you found her.

"The Crystal Cave" - Unique & Adorable

Having met Crystal on our holiday late last year, she showed us "The Crystal Cave" during its creation. We love the unique, & liked what was being done, so we booked a week in 2015. We just loved its perfect position - just a few strides away from the pool with the beautiful pool side gardens & the lack of children as we wanted a complete switch off & we love the daily dip in the pool whilst on holiday. The facilities presently provided are being upgraded this yea & we are looking forward to our next visit.. Booking was such a simple process, & on arrival we were met by Crystal & given a personal tour of the apartment. this made it so much easier to fell instantly at home. On entering "The Crystal Cave" it was spotless. Crystal was always available if we needed assistance, & the Complementary Arrival Pack, which we were able to select by way of choosing what our preferences were re milk, butter, coffee, tea, bread etc was so very welcome as we arrived late. Beautiful bedding & towels were including & beach towels were also provided. The partly shaded patio was just perfect as we could view the pool & surroundings but still maintain our privacy & in shade. The purpose built BBQ enabled us to enjoy evenings on the patio with a lovely view of the lit pool & the surrounding pool lights. We are looking forward to returning either later this year or sometime next as we understand from Crystal, there are many more improvements & additions being made this year, such as WiFi & UK TV. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & are really looking forward to our next visit. The effort being put into "The Crystal Cave" together with the fabulous assistance from Crystal, will, we are sure, make it our favourite Cyprus destination.

After falling in love with Cyprus & its wonderful people, we just had to have a place of our own here. We toured much of the island & felt drawn to Tala for so many reasons, including the quaintness of the elite village, its wonderful Cypriot & expat community, its beautiful quiet location, & its delightful Tala Village Square. Tala is just 15 mins from Paphos & is central to everywhere. It is so peaceful & quiet, & wonderfully warm, welcoming & friendly, & we are always made to feel very much at home on our visits. We have a lovely little supermarket a 3 min walk away, & an English Deli, Chemist, Bank, Beauty Parlour/Hairdressers & 2 super restaurants, with many more in our unique Tala Village Square a 3 min drive or 20 min walk away.

Cyprus is the perfect holiday destination for everyone at every age, as it has absolutely everything; history & archaeology, wow scenery & incredible nature walks, wonderful beaches & water sports & the azure Med, culture & handicrafts, vineyards & wineries, beautiful monasteries & ancient buildings, incredible flora & fauna, orange, lemon, olive & fig trees, picturesque Troodos ski resort (mid-Jan to mid-March) & wonderful Cypriot wine, cuisine & hospitality & so much more.


Cyprus has 650 kilms of coastline with sandy & rocky beaches, warm sea comfortable for swimming from May to October. On every beach, red buoys indicate the swimmers' area where speed-boats & any other floating craft are not allowed to enter. Swimmers must adhere to the lifeguard's instructions. A 15 min drive will take you into Paphos with its prom, beach & harbour. Several other beaches are close by including Coral Bay a 10 min drive, with many lovely places to enjoy a selection of food & drink


Car hire is recommended. Paphos Airport is approx 20 mins away & Larnaca Airport is approx 145 mins. Car hire is available at both airports upon arrival, or you can pre-book via the internet & your car will be at the airport awaiting your arrival - the better option. In addition, airport taxis are available, or if requested, I can arrange a private taxi pick-up on arrival & departure via an excellent driver at a good rate. There is also an excellent bus service which covers the whole island.


Tala village square is within walking distance & is a popular place both day & night with its Cypriot & British tavernas, restaurants & bars, & is the hub of the village, loved by locals, British residents & visitors & provides a perfect taste of Cyprus. The villages of Emba, Kissonerga, Chlorakas & Coral Bay are a few minutes drive, where you will find many amenities to suit all tastes, & all have excellent food outlets to suit everyone. Many places of interest are close by to explore & enjoy.

Further Details:

There is a variety of choices with regards to night life a short distance away. A 3 min walk will take you to an excellent Cypriot restaurant providing a varied menu & provides a superb Traditional British Sunday Lunch (pre-booking advised for Sunday Lunch). Close by is an excellent & popular Italian restaurant.

A 3 min drive or a 15 to 20 min walk will take you to our quaint Tala Village Square, with a selection of Cypriot & British tavernas, restaurants, bistros & bars providing excellent cuisine & entertainment such as traditional Cypriot dancing & all are highly recommended.

A 2 min walk to a small supermarket catering for most things including English newspapers. There is also a chemist, hairdressers, nail beautician & several other outlets near the supermarket; including a bank just a 3 min walk away.

In Tala Village Square you will also find a church & small shops, & the panoramic views of the surrounding area & the Mediterranean Sea from the square are quite beautiful, both day & night. All the restaurants, tavernas & bistros are regularly frequented by Cypriots & visitors, & are firm favourites of the many British residents.

Should you want a more energetic evening, a 15 min drive will take you into Paphos or Coral Bay & the abundant choice of night life from tavernas to restaurants to British pubs, to discos & everything in-between. Taxis can be arranged. A taxi rank is in the heart of the Paphos night life to return.

There are supermarkets, banks, restaurants, tavernas & local shops a 10 min drive away & many more in Kato Paphos & Paphos, plus the prom, the Med, & a bubbly tourist area with everything else a 15 mins drive away.

Tala is central for everything, & Cyprus has something for everyone at every age no matter what your interest to make your holiday a memorable one. So much to see & do in Cyprus, or just relax, switch off & soak up the sun & Cyprus has plenty of that too & fine dining close by - perfect.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible. Arrival 4.00 pm & Departure 10.00 am. Early arrivals & late departures catered for when possible.

When we decided Tala was the place for us, we began the search for our ideal property. We wanted something unique, that provided privacy but within a quiet community. We fell in love with "The Crystal Cave" as soon as we saw it as it has everything we were looking for. Located on a beautiful, private & serene residential complex; ground floor right by the pool, private patio, & inside just wowed us on first sight. Very large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with high ceilings & subtle ceiling lighting, 2 beautiful bedrooms & a cosy bathroom. You have to see the apartment to fully appreciate how special & unique she is as she really is one of a kind. We have of course put our own homely touches to her & we know our Guests will fall in love with her as we have.

  • Notes on accommodation: Inside the apartment is non-smoking, but Guests may smoke outside on the patio. Sorry - no pets. Located on a small, elegant & private residential complex, so consideration of the residents is paramount - no loud music or excessive noise is permitted. Perfect for a stress free relaxing holiday in a lovely quiet yet central location. We provide our Guests with a Complementary Arrival Pack consisting of a bottle of Milk, a box of Tea, a jar of Coffee, a bag of Sugar, a loaf of Bread, a packet of Butter, a jar of Jam or Marmalade, a bottle of Wine & a 6 Pack of Beer - all Guests own selection. The apartment also has heating & we provide Complementary slippers & the use of warm dressing gowns from December to end of February.
