Arlington Cottage is a charming, very pretty Grade II listed cottage (Built in c.1810) perfectly located in the picturesque village of Blockley. The cottage sits on a quiet road in the historic heart of this tranquil, yet thriving village, which has a wonderful gastro pub, a very popular community owned village shop & café, and a historic Norman church. The village is also perfectly placed for many walks and tourist attractions in the Cotswolds. Arlington Cottage is a luxurious property with Farrow and Ball paints and designer soft furnishings adorning the well-proportioned, light and airy rooms. There are many character features, including sash windows, the original fireplace in the bedroom and a sandstone floor & log burner in the living room. It is perfectly situated in the picture postcard village of Blockley - ideal for walking, sightseeing and visiting the surrounding historical villages, allowing guests to enjoy all the Cotswolds has to offer. Blockley has a brilliant village shop, a very popular Cafe and a great gastro pub, all of which are within easy walking distance of the cottage.”

Blockley is easily accessed by car being located approximately 1 mile away from the A44 and approximately 3 miles away from the A429 (Fosse Way) which are two of the main roads through the North Cotswolds

Arlington Cottage is ideally situated with a number of pretty and scenic walks starting from right outside the door!
Blockley has a number of places to eat and drink - all just a short walk from the cottage. The Crown Inn, The Great Western Arms, Lower Brook House and the Community Shop Cafe are to name a few. The community shop and cafe is the hub of the village offering a wide range of basic groceries and necessities. The licensed cafe is open all day serving a delicous breakfast, lunch, coffee and tea (with home made cakes!)
There are many excellent places to eat and drink in the wider North Cotswold area, with the towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden, Broadway, Burford and Chipping Norton offering a variety of tea shops, pubs and restaurants catering for most tastes and budgets. There are also many traditional Cotswold pubs located in the lovely villages throughout the North Cotswolds.
Moreton-in-Marsh has several supermarkets - Co-Op, Tesco and Budgens and Tesco and Waitrose will deliver directly to the door

- Description of sleeping capacity: 2 people in one large double bedroom - 5ft bed Notes on bedrooms: A beautiful, bright and spacious bedroom with the original fireplace, a large antique pine bed (5ft) and a separate dressing room with ample storage space. There are plantation blinds at the window to enhance that well deserved lie in.
- Outside: Arlington Cottage has a lovely sunny courtyard filled with flowers at the rear of the property - accessed via the kitchen. Seating for two is provided with a small table. Ideal for relaxing. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The bed will be fully made up ready for your arrival with Egyptian cotton bedlinen and goose down duvet and pillows. Freshly laundered towels are provided. Mid stay clean and fresh linen/towels can be organised on request.
