House in Cabo Roig, Nr. Torrevieja, Costa Blanca South, Spain - Perfectly Located In A Quiet Area But Within A Few Mins Walk To The Lively Strip And The Beach

Our well maintained Cabo Roig Sun holiday home is ideal for a relaxing family or a group holiday of up to 6 people. It's an air-conditioned stylish quad house in Cabo Roig with free WiFi and with a big communal pool. The house’s most outstanding feature has to be its location as it is within a very close walking distance to all amenities and beaches. Noise is never a problem in this residential area but yet just a few minutes’ walk will bring you to the hub of the Cabo Roig entertainment - shops, restaurants (European, Thai, Indian, Mexican Chinese and of course traditional Spanish, etc.), cafes and bars. Children or teenagers will never be bored with the pool just round the corner and lots of attractions in the area. There is a free bus nearby that goes to the local water park four times a day. Key access is given to the gated communal pool which includes a children’s paddling pool. It has a lifeguard in July and August. There are hardly any cars passing the property so very safe if you have young children with you. Golfers should also note that 3 top golf courses, Villamartín, Las Ramblas and Campoamor are only 5-15-minute drive away. To keep the kids entertained whilst you sip sangria on the terrace there is satellite TV with UK channels and a selection of DVDs, books and games. All this makes it an affordable holiday in a beautiful location with lots of sun and entertainment.

Hi, my husband and I live in Manchester area and we have always dreamed of our 'place in the sun' to escape the rainy weather once in a while. We look forward to more quality time with our family in Cabo Roig Sun.

Why Ania Ford chose Alicante Province and Costa Blanca

We looked in many places but Cabo Roig ticked all the boxes being so close to all you need including beaches, shops, bars and restaurants.

The choice of beaches is so great with the closest one less than 15 min walk away. In the summer time they have lifeguards as well as our communal swimming pool.

Costa Blanca South is also centrally located to many places worth visiting including La Manga, Cartagena, Alicante, Benidorm and 2 airports of Murcia and Alicante. There is also a possibility to take a ferry to Ibiza! Moreover there is choice of golf courses within a few mins drive.

We love the vicinity of Zenia Boulevard, an impressive shopping mall, which is only a 5 min drive away with more than 20 leisure establishments and restaurants, giant screen, health park, children's play area

What makes this house unique

This is a perfectly located holiday house for a family or a group of friends. It's in a safe and quiet residential area with lovely neighbours, where you can get your much deserved rest and relaxation; but whenever you need a wilder karaoke night, live music shows or other kind of entertainment the local Cabo Roig 'strip' with a big choice of bars and restaurants is less than 10 min walk away. So unless you want to venture further afield you don't need to hire a car. The strip will satisfy anyone from teenagers to much older generations. The closest Argentinian bar El Gato is only 5 min walk away and it serves delicious pizza.

The house is very spacious and has 2 bathrooms which helps to avoid queues before a night out.

We cannot think of a better holiday home for 6.

Notes on accommodation: - The property is a non-smoking house, but smoking facilities are available outside on the terraces. - A possibility to park in the driveway but parking outside the house is also secure as it's a quiet cul-de-sac - No hen dos or stag parties - We can recommend a service which hires high chairs, prams, etc. - Lifeguard at the pool in July and August Outside: Communal swimming pool, patio and terraces with chairs, parasols, tables, beach chairs, 2 fully reclining chairs and 1 sun lounger. A stone BBQ. Utility Room: Travel cot, Mop & Bucket, Clothes Airer, Dustpan & Brush, Cooler box for the beach, Iron, Ironing Board, Broom, Pegs, Hoover, beach buckets for kids, toys, Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned on changeover. Bedding and towels are included (please bring your own beach towels). 70.00 Euros is payable locally on arrival for cleaning & laundry– the charge is lower if only 2 people are staying in the property.

Winter Sun

My wife and I chose Cabo Roig sun as our destination to delay the onset of winter, and it turned out to be an inspired choice.

The property was very well equipped, particularly the beds, which had good quality mattresses and were very comfortable. The one small criticism would be that some of the cooking utensils are reaching the end of their life, but with many good restaurants within a few minutes walk this was not a problem

There was plenty of entertainment, with English t.v., DVD's and a good supply of books to pass the time.

The coastal path was a 10 minute walk away, and we enjoyed several gentle strolls along the stretch between Playa de Glea and Punta Prima. As we are both in our mid seventies, we did not want anything too demanding and every beach seemed to have a café providing excellent coffee.

Richard and Donna were helpful and friendly, responding very quickly to change the bottles when the gas ran out and very efficient airport transfers.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday and we can happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, value for money holiday in the sun. Ania and Ben were a pleasure to deal with, thank you both for the use of your home from home

Great property for a relaxing stay in the sun

Excellent customer service from Ania and Ben. The property is prefectly orientated for the hot Spanish summer months ie no direct sun into the property but you are still able to enjoy the sun all day on the lower patio area. The shared pool is a short stroll away and is typically quiet. The air conditioning worked effectively and the property was clean albeit a little tired - the latter did not however detract from our enjoyment.

All amenities are within walking distance. Would recommend the larger supermarket, Consum, as there is a good selection of fresh fish, meat, fruit and veg. The costaazul coach/bus operates regularly from the 'strip' into Torrevieja and Alicante.

Great accommodation and facilities

thoroughly enjoyed our stay in June. everything you needed was there and plenty of outside space for little ones to play. short walk into cabo roig strip which had endless bars and restaurants and would thoroughly recommend The Manhattan and The Orange Tree, food was all home cooked and service was great. The Queen Vic as also good for snack meals and happy hour on drinks was good to. Pool area was lovely and spotless and had pool to ourselves on most days... small pool for kiddies which was good. The Irish Bars are well worth a visit, friendly staff and owners O'Riodans was very good as was the Bog Road

Relaxed and Refreshed

My wife and I stayed for 8 days at Cabo Roig Sun, very clean accommodation and well fitted out. There are a wide variety of books to read which was good as trying to read my Kindle out in the sun was not easy. The sun is on the front terrace all day and in the hotter part of the day it was nice to sit under the porch for some shade. Neighbours on both sides were British and friendly and recommended good restaurants and bars to us.

Good communication with Ania & Ben as we had a late afternoon flight home there was no problem with us staying till later than the checkout time

There are so many places to eat you would need a couple of months there to try them all. A couple that stood out for us were Panache which has a French chef, on Fridays & Saturdays needs to be booked. The other was The Orange Tree which is family run with large portions. O'Riordans bar is the place to go if you are interested in sport with a dozen Tvs dotted around the place all with different sport on. There is a large supermarket within a 10 minute walk from the house which stays open till 10pm so we were able to stock up the same evening we arrived.

It was our first time we did not hire a car and unless your looking at going further afield there is no need for one, there are no hills to climb which makes a change for a Spanish holiday.

We would highly recommend the house to friends and family, and hope to be able to stay there next year

Great place for a family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious Cabo Roig house which has everything we needed as a Family, including a travel cot, a well-equipped kitchen and 2 Family bathrooms. The neighbourhood is friendly and the best thing about the house must be its Location - in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the bars and Restaurants of Cabo Roig. The pool was never too busy and has a separate Swimming area for our Little daughter. The walk to the beach was under 15mins with a nice panoramic view. The house was clean and has some private outside area to enjoy. We look Forward to coming back as it´s a great place for a Family Holiday.

Wonderful holiday home

This is our third visit to Murcia but first time in this home, we do hire a car, however should you not drive this is not a problem as everything was within walking distance, the main strip has tons of bars and restaurants, although you can get there on foot in 5 minutes, its a quiet residential area. The home was lovely and clean and the communal pool was quiet and just round the corner from the home. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

A security deposit of £100 is required. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage/loss deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 7 days of departure, following satisfactory inspection of property/inventory check.
