Fantastic Country Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 11 females and stayed for three nights for my hen weekend. The house is wonderfully remote with beautiful views and heart warming log fires. It was furnished to a high standard and had more than enough appliances to keep us fed, watered and entertained for the full weekend.

We went horse riding for the day on the Saturday in Richmond at The Hollies which was only about 20 minutes away and then came back to a three course dinner around the huge kitchen table.

It was one of the best weekends in my life - perfect for hen parties or for a family stays. The owner is very responsive and co-operative and I am sure neither me or any of my hens would hesitate in recommending this property.

Thank you

Sam

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 13 ladies on a (sedate!) hen weekend, and the house was absolutely perfect for us! It was brilliant value for money, the facilities were amazing, it was spacious and flexible, and the location beautiful and convenient for local sights, walking and activities. The property owner was accommodating and friendly, and communication with him was quick and clear. Quite simply, it was perfect and we can't recommend it highly enough! Thank you Anthony and Squirrel Bank.

Perfect for a large family holiday

  • 5 of 5

The property was perfect for our group (10), especially the dogs! It was great for the whole family to be able to congregate in one room together, whether the sitting room or the kitchen. We had some great walks, found the Cover Bridge Inn (great food and beer!) and visited the Black Sheep Brewery, Brymor Ice Cream shop and Wensleydale creamery. All of which added a bit of colour to our stay! Perfect break in a perfect location!
