This recently refurbished townhouse is one of very few next to the sea in Fuengirola, just 50 meters to beach. Situated on a prestigious small complex at the 'quiet' end of Fuengirola, between Hotel Las Piramides and the castle.

The complex was built between a beautiful park and the promenade. It is always just a stones throw from the new riverside park. You have everything near, no need at all for a car.

I live in Madrid-Spain with my wife, Mercedes, and our daughter, Lara. My wife works in the Foreign Office and I am a Chartered Accountant in a Big Four Firm.

My wife and I have past our holidays in Fuengirola since we were in our twenties, because this is a beautiful place for relaxing, sun bathing and sporting. It is really a place for families where you can find everything you want for your family.

I love Andalusia, its history, the people, the folklore, the weather, the beaches and the fantastic gastronomy (please try the marvelous 'espetos' of sardines by the beach - DELICIOUS with a beer).

And you can find many other attractions as running areas, pine forests just 15 minutes driving, hippodrome, dolphin watching excursions, scuba diving places not far away, discos

Why Francisco J Martinez chose Fuengirola

We love Fuengirola because of the fantastic facilities in the area. It is a really nice city for families where you can find everything you want for your family holidays. Although it is a popular place it is never crowded, even in summer.

Fuengirola is close to some important and beautiful places as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda (visit Ronda), Mijas (donky taxis), Malaga, Antequera, Frigiliana, Nerja, Maro ... and you can also have a one day trip to Morocco (Marrakesh the ancient Arabic city) or Gibraltar.

My wife and I wanted all these things together to get active or relaxing holidays, depending on our feelings.

Fuengirola is a save place, good your younger people.

It is a good place for children since we have the famous zoo, which is visited for lot of peeple from many people, and the city is proud of offering lot of amusing activities for younger people and children.

What makes this house unique

The property is 50 meters from the fabulous beach and 100 meters from X Century Sohail Arabic Castle. Culture events are run in the Castle. The best area of Fuengirola.

There are beach 'chiringitos' just two minute walk from the house where yo can enjoy great local foot and delicious evening meals at reasonable prices. You can also enjoy the comfort of the house if you prefer to provide on the close supermarkets.

We have recently restored and furnished the house. You will feel comfortable on new environment.

The property has a community pool open all year. The house is located just in the border of the pool with direct access. The pool is in a flowered garden well attended. Sights from house are direct to the pool and you can also watch the sea from the terraces.

Free Wifi and Satellite TV,. air conditioned and heat in all rooms and sitting room.

Notes on accommodation: Air conditioning is installed presently in living room and all the rooms. Stand up fans are provided also Safe for passports, documents and money Outside: We are fortunate to have the community pool just outside our front door. Only 12 houses on this complex are situated around the pool area- The pool is open the full year. The pool is unheated, therefore cold in winter, but the weather is not too cold even in Winter and people swim the full ye. We provide sun loungers and chairs that can be used in the communal gardens. We have terrace furniture on the porch and also on the patio- perfect for eating or dinning late evening outside- and with this climate, this can be done for 8 months a year. The communal gardens are very well maintained by a full time gardener. We have sub tropical plants, bushes, trees and flowers, making the place bright and joyful, a pleasure to the eyes. The complex was designed and built in typical Andalucian style, using typical local tilework, fountains and arch ways. Utility Room:The washing machine is on the rear terrace inside a purpose built closet. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: Bed linen and bath towels are provided. For stays of over 10 nights, a change will be provided on a weekly basis, if asked by tenant Beach towels are provided free of charge. The property is clean and prepared for your arrival. Other: The dining area has a table and 7 chairs including some kept in the closet. There are 7 extra resine chairs in porch

Excellent villa perfect for everyone's needs

Well were do I start about this villa. It is spacious, clean and immaculate and perfect for families. The villa as everything you need whilst on holiday and accommodates everyone's needs, even as toys for the children. The pool is just a few steps away from the patio and is very clean and manned with a friendly lovely lifeguard. The grounds the villa is situated in is beautiful and immaculate. The sandy beach is just a street away and the access to the beach is fantastic even if you are travelling with small children in a pram.

We travelled as 2 adults and 6 children. 2 of my children have medical conditions and required medical equipment and oxygen whilst we was there. The communication from the owner Paco and Raquel was exceptional before and throughout our stay. They ensured my children's medical equipment and oxygen was delivered on time and they went over and beyond to ensure we all felt at ease. If it wasn't for this excellent communication I wouldn't have been able to give my children an amazing holiday abroad experience.

We have already booked to go again next year as there is no negatives at all with this villa it is just perfect. We are counting down the days now till we are there again.

Just back home from a fantastic week in peublo castillo. The house is perfect for a family holiday .the location could not be better . Across the road from the beach and a really lovely park . Loads of restaurants and bars nearby . The house itself was so clean and had everything you could need even beach toys and floats for the kids. The thing I loved the most was you were only a few steps from your front door to pool . I would recommend this house to anyone and I will definitely return myself .my kids are already asking me when can we go back .

Stay over Easter

The whole experience was really good. The contact with the owner was thorough and on the day of arrival and departure the estate agent was excellent. The property was nice and clean and we had room to spread out. In terms of the townhouse it is in a private complex with access to a pool which the kids loved. We where lucky with the weather going over Easter and as you might expect the pool was a little cool but if you are going later in the year you will be fine. You are 5 minutes walk from the beach and the main strip which you can use to traverse the town.

Lovely family spot

The villa is situated in a gated complex a one minute walk from the beach. There is a large pool with a substantial shallow end for the children to play in. Unexpectedly the pool is monitored by a lifeguard during most of its opening hours. He is very professional and does an excellent job without being too strict. We did notice that siesta is observed and whilst you can use the pool, it's polite to be quieter between 3:30pm and 5:30pm.

The property is set in beautiful gardens with plenty of shady spots, and umberellas around the poolside area. It's so pretty and you could easily spend a day there.

The beach is very close by, as are two children's parks. It's is perfect if you have children.

We hired a car, but there was no need. Parking is difficult and you really do have everything you need in a short distance.

Inside the villa is quite traditional. The fixtures and fittings are not modern and shiny but the villa has absolutely everything you need, even down to deck chairs, toys and a brolly for the beach!

The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of pots and pans. There is a dishwasher but we didn't need to use it.

The living area is spacious and has a good TV and a DVD/BR player. Take some films to watch as the only English Channel we could find was the news. We only used the tv to entertain the kids.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms on the first floor, one a twin, and one a double. The bathroom is spacious and the beds and linen are in good condition.

Upstairs again is the final double bedroom and en suite.

All rooms have outside space, I particularly liked how secure it was as we had small children with us.

Air conditioning is throughout the property and is most welcome! It all works well. There are also large fans in most rooms.

The owner has thought of everything to make this an inexpensive holiday let for families.

On a personal note. Whilst staying we had some car trouble, without the help of the owner we would have been in a real pickle. I just want to make it clear that the people you are renting from are incredibly welcoming and absolutely bent over backwards to help us. We are so happy to have found this place and will return because the owner and his family are just super.

Wonderful holidayhouse in Fuengirola

We, 7 adults, enjoyed a lot to spend a week in Pueblo Castillo 36. House is very well equipped, rooms and other places were clean. Everything we need, was founded. Also swimming pool. Friendly and helpful owner. The beach, restaurants, markets, all are nearby and short walk for bus- and train station. We can recommend for adults and for families with the children.

Fuengirola is blessed with 8 km of beach- interrupted only in one place- the pleasure/fishing harbour.

All beaches are sandy and are equipped with all amenities such as sun beds, parasols, beach bars serving typical Mediterrean cuisine. The beaches have life guards during the summer months.

There are lots of play areas for children that are available throughout the year.

There are lots of water sports avaialble to those interested.

Further Details:

Local restaurants, cafeterias and bars- start within 100 metres of the complex- then carry on all the way to the centre of town. You are spoilt for choice. The nearst supermarket is just a 6 minute walk away. There are convenience shops, butcher, grocery, newsagent, bank etc within a 5 minute walk.

The Miramar shopping mall is a 6 minute walk and offers shops of all types, cinemas, bars etc.

This side of town has many parks. Just beside the complex is a lovely childrens park with 2 play areas, a ball court, a skating, biking area, plenty of benches and exercise apparatus for adults- which prove very popular to residents and holidaymakers.

Fuengirola is definitely a 'walking town'. Here the promenade is completely flat, as is the town itself, making it ideal for those with difficulties and those who use motorised wheelchairs.

The centre of town and harbour are 10 minutes walk away.

The are plenty of oppotunities for sporting activities, golf, tennis, running, cicling.

Winters are soft in Fuengirola area, since the close mountains retain the micro-climate. When other part of Spain are cold and rainy Fuengirola use to be hot and dry, even in Winter.

Nevertheless, the house has a fantastic chimeney to enjoy the evening having a drink when the sun goes.

For CHRISTMAS and EASTER seasons Fuengirola has excellents leisure offers, since they run popular demostrations and processions. The city becomes plenty of Street activities ans markets where you can find the deepth of popular feelings of the Andulucian people.

In Christmas and Easter most visitors become excited for the emotive acts of religious fervor on the streets.

If you decide to reserve we require 25% on reservation. The balance will be due 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of 200 euros is payable on arrival and returnable on departure, subject to satisfactory assessment of the property.

You will be asked to fill in a booking agreement on reservation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: we can not accept group of people if at least one of them is over 28 years old.

Maximum 10 people, being 8 adults and children and 2 babies sleeping in the cot.

Final cleaning is included in price, valued at 60 euros per stay.

Beach towels are free. We will give one beach towel per person.

Wifi is free.
