3 bedroom cottage in charming, peaceful setting leading to village millpond with wonderful walks and within 2 miles of the beach.

Ebenezer Cottage is situated in Sutton Poyntz, Dorset,which lies in a horseshoe of hills, along which runs the South West Dorset Coastal Path. There are wonderful walks directly from the Cottage with access to the South West Coastal Path and Dorset Jubilee Trail. The village is near Weymouth with its golden sweeping beach, elegant Georgian seafront and delightfully picturesque old harbour. The County town of Dorchester is also close by. There are many other unspoilt beaches and idyllic secluded coves within easy reach including the famous Chesil beach, Ringstead Bay, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, West Bay, Golden Cap near Seatown and Lyme Regis for fossils and a dinosaur tour.

We lived in the village of Sutton Poyntz for sixteen years. It is where we had our two children and we have the most wonderful family memories of this beautiful village and surrounding area.

The most relaxing short break we've ever had!

This cottage is an absolute gem. Nestled away alongside a stream, you feel like you are a million miles from anywhere. But with Civilisation actually just minutes away, it's easy to access everything you need. Cathy is a superb host and the cottage has everything you need. Prosecco and cake greeted us on arrival, along with fresh flowers. So many little personal touches which really do make all the difference. This cottage is very well equipped for children, our toddler very much enjoyed playing with the toys in the toy box and reading the many books. The cot, highchair and stair gates provided were an absoute bonus and made things a lot easier.

A short meander along the stream in front of the cottage brings you to an idyllic pond where you will find ducks and a welcoming pub! So many beautiful walks nearby with breathtaking scenery. This cottage is an absolute haven and we certainly hope to return!

A wonderful haven

Myself, my husband and our 2 children Henry (3) and Holly (5months) have just returned from a weeks stay in your wonderful cottage. We felt so welcome and cosy. It was a real home from home in an idyllic setting. The cake and flowers were lovely and Henry enjoyed playing with the toys you left. He also enjoyed feeding his quack quacks. Our little girl slept soundly in your lovely cot and Henry did not want to leave and loved 'this new house'. Thanks for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home.

Exquisite Cottage in Delightful Location

This stunning cottage provides all you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this beautiful peaceful village. This spacious property is spotless and furnished to a high standard. On our arrival we were greeted with fresh flowers and a large homemade cake and a welcome pack. We were fortunate to visit in June when the village flowers take your breath away. The walk from the cottage alongside the stream to the Mill pond is a must. The countryside walks from the village are lovely, yet the coast is only a short drive away. The owner provided first class service and we will no doubt return.

Ideal Holiday location.

The very pleasant cottage in an attractive village is a great location for exploring the beautiful local countryside, with many walks from the village It is very well presented and equipped. With the Springhead Pub an additional benefit.
