This semi-detached house is in a fabulous location with wonderful unrestricted views across fields to the Borrowdale Fells, the Newlands Valley, Barf and the fells running the length of Bassenthwaite. It is in a lovely peaceful setting - ideal for a holiday as you have all the pleasure of a rural home, yet the facilities of Keswick are still within easy reach. There is a beautifully maintained and spacious garden with wonderful south facing views. The owners of 4 Raven Lane live next door in the other half of this semi-detached property.

Notes on accommodation: Many guests return each year, some several times a year. The key attraction is our fantastic location and the views. Many footpaths in the Skiddaw and Latrigg area are easily accessible. The setting is rural and peaceful. Yet, access to Keswick with its Booths & Coop supermarkets, leisure pool (wave machine and flumes), pubs, bars, restaurants is a convenient less than 5 minute drive away. Suitable for families or couples sharing. The dining kitchen and lounge are on the ground floor. On the 1st floor are the three bedrooms and family bathroom. Access to the garden is either via the front door down a few steps, or via the back door from the dining kitchen. Outside: The house is surrounded by a beautifully kept, lawned, wrap around garden, with an abundance of perennial boarders. There is a dining table and chairs with parasol for shade. A barbecue is also provided. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house is cleaned and beds are made up with fresh linen ahead of each set of guests. Bath towels are available upon request, a small extra charge will be made to cover laundry costs.

Tranquil, serene location - absolutely lovely

Lovely cottage in a tranquil, serene location surrounded by beautiful scenery but just minutes from the amenities of town. Well equipped and delightful hosts. Thanks also Ellen for the extra toys you arranged for our boys, they were perfect. Highly recommended, we hope to come back!

Changeover Day:
Peak season bookings are Saturday to Saturday, with arrival after 3pm and departure by 10am please. Other change over days and lengths of stay may be possible in the off-peak season.


Notes on prices:
All prices are fully inclusive of bed linen, electricity and coal for the open fire at cooler times of year.

We also include a welcome tea tray and house keeping pack that includes Loo roll, hand soap, hand towels, bath mat, tea towels and bin liners.
