About this property

Attractive apartment with spectacular views

Bright and airy 2-bedroom apartment on the edge of the historic ’white’ village of Frigiliana, voted the ‘prettiest village in Andalucía’ by the Spanish tourist authority. Sandy beaches only 6km away and wonderful hiking country, rich in wildlife, all around. The apartment is located in a small residential block on a quiet side street and has spectacular views – to the east over the Rio Higueron and the rugged mountains of the Tejeda, Almijara & Alhama Natural Park, and south to the small seaside town of Nerja and the Mediterranean.
Sleeps 3, in one double and one single bedroom. The following optional items are available at an additional cost of £15 per item per week: a folding single bed (+ linen), a baby cot/crib (+ linen) and a high chair. The apartment has air conditioning/heating and free wifi.
From 2023 the swimming pool is open from 1st May to 31st October.

Nice apartment with stunning views on outskirts of town.
The apartment was absolutely fine and served our purposes well. It had all the amenities we could want and the view from the balcony is gorgeous (being right over the gorge). However, on all previous visits to Frigiliana we have had places right in town so being on the outskirts and much more in the residential quarter was a bit different for us and not quite so convenient or as much fun. Each to their own though and I'm sure others would prefer it. All in all I would recommend this apartment.

Stunning views
We had a lovely holiday in this apartment. It is located in a nice part of the village about a 10 minute walk from the old town of Frigiliana. It has stunning views of the mountains and the sea in the distance. A very comfortable apartment with everything we needed. The pool was great and there are sun loungers in the apartment to use by the pool. Communication with Anne was great and we’ll definitely be back.

Well equipped with stunning views
Our fifth time staying in Frigiliana and second time at this apartment. We prefer coming out of season (the summers are just too hot for us). We've stayed here in October and March when it's hot enough to lounge in the sun, but not too hot to go walking (or even head out for an early morning run). Frigiliana is a stunning village and the old town gets quite busy during the day, even out of season - so plenty of bars and restaurants open during the day, but not so many on an evening. In the summer it's much busier and lots of places stay open late into the night. This apartment is located on the edge of the new town, so much quieter than in the old town, which is about 15 min walk away. The mountain views from the balcony are stunning and the balcony gets the sun from sunrise until about 3.00pm. The apartment is slightly dated, but it's clean and incredibly well equipped. We tend to eat out at lunchtime and make something in the apartment on an evening and the kitchen has everything we need. Drinks in the bars and restaurants are cheap (typically between 2 and 3 euros for a glass of wine or beer). Eating out is reasonable and supermarket prices are low. Eroski supermarket in the centre of the new town is less than 10 min walk from the apartment and provides most of what you'll need at decent prices. There's a Lidl on the way into Nerja that has a wider range of goods and is incredibly cheap. Car parking in Frigiliana is generally tricky (particularly in the old town) but we generally managed to get a space close to this apartment. It's only during the day on weekends that we struggled. We've really loved staying here, hence our return visit - and I'm sure we'll be back again!

Wonderful Peaceful Location
We had a wonderful stay of 13 nights in Anne property. The location and view were lovely. You see the sunrise and most of the sunset. It had everything we needed for our stay. We would certainly stay there again.

We started looking for a property in Spain early in 2014, primarily for use as a holiday base for us and our family. We had visited Frigiliana before and liked it very much, so it was always high on our list of places to look and, after exploring other parts of the coastline we found nowhere that gave us the same warm feeling as Frigiliana. For us it ticked many boxes including attractiveness, relaxed atmosphere, great climate, good amenities within easy reach (shops, restaurants, beaches, airport, etc) and location as a base for exploring other parts of Andalucia. When we saw this apartment, and its amazing view, we were hooked! We are delighted with our apartment and are pleased to offer it to others for rent as a holiday home. Why they chose this property

We chose the village because of its location in beautiful mountain countryside, close to Nerja and the best beaches for miles around. It was also important that our non-driving children should be able to reach it relatively easily by public transport. As for the apartment itself, it was the views that really sold it to us, easily the best in the village, as well as the lovely (but quiet) swimming pool and the well maintained condition of the apartment itself and the block in general.
