This Cottage is between the villages of Farley and West Grimstead, only a short distance from Salisbury and the New Forest. Nestled in 75 acres of ancient woodland that includes a Lake for fly or course fishing.
We have lived here with their children Abi and Harry since 2009. We love living here with all the woodland has to offer, fishing at the lake and enjoying the wildlife. We also keep chickens and a few rare breed pigs.
Lisa Hogan purchased this cottage in 2009
We bought the property to experience the chance of managing the woodland and its quiet location surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is also only 10 minutes from Salisbury City Centre and only 35 minutes to Southampton.
The 75 acres private woodland and lake are on your door step. Wildlife, peace and quiet

We needed a bit of clear space between us and the city, so the promise of an Easter weekend in the middle of a forest seemed perfect. Lisa and Dave were very welcoming, with fresh eggs from the chickens on arrival and a tour of the place. The kids absolutely loved the pigs, the chickens, the big trampoline, the tree house and the picture perfect lake and summer house. We loved all of that and the peace and quiet. It's a lovely little cottage, very cosy and in a perfect location to explore the New Forest, Salisbury and further on down to Southampton and Portsmouth. We hope to be back before too long.
