Cottage in Cadgwith, Cornwall, England - Pets Welcome, 20 Yards From The Beach, Close To Good Pub
As seen in Monty Halls' 'series 'The Fisherman's Apprentice' on BBC2. Pebbles is a traditional fisherman's semi-detached cottage situated in the heart of the Cadgwith Cove. Sunny and south-facing, the whitewashed cottage provides very comfortable accommodation and is full of character. Pebbles has its own patio and sheltered garden with sea glimpes, which makes a lovely private sun trap and provides ample seating to enjoy alfresco meals. It is only a few yards away from the beach where you can bathe or watch the daily activities of the local fishermen, and central to all the amenities of the cove. You can enjoy freshly caught fish and crab in the Old Cellars Restaurant or in the Cadgwith Cove Inn, the local pub and social hub of the village. The Inn is the venue for a thriving Folk Club on Tuesday nights and traditional Cornish singing every Friday. In high season, seafood barbecues, fishing competitions, gig racing, a regatta and a folk music day are social highlights.

About the Owner
We live in a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula, South west Cornwall with our three young boys. Simon is a retired fisherman and I was a primary school teacher until I gave up my post to look after our children and concentrate on managing our holiday properties. We are a small, family owned and run business and we are delighted to say that many of our guests return again and again.

Comfortable cottage in perfect location
Pebbles is very comfortable with plenty of space for the family to spread out . We were provided with all we needed including high chair , cot and welcome goodies . Games toys etc available for use in the cottage , fortunately we didn't need them as the weather was amazing
Lovely garden area and especially good to have parking which is limited in the village .
One minute to the harbour and coastal path , beautiful scenery and walks .
Pub serving good fresh local food also one minute away .
Fiona made sure we had all we needed and was very accommodating when I initially booked the wrong week in error
Would definitely look forward to returning in the future

Cadgwith is a picturesque fishing village with whitewashed thatched cottages lining the sides of the valley and a small fleet of colourful fishing boats winched up on the shingle beach. The fact that the boats are still in use and the local pub (The Cadgwith Cove Inn) is renown for it's singing of Cornish songs of a Friday evening is testament to the traditional character of this village still being alive and well. The village also has a thriving gig club. Cadgwith featured in the film 'Ladies in Lavender' and is the base for Monty Halls' series: 'The Fisherman's Apprentice'.
The cove has two beaches - the fishing beach where you can watch the daily activities of the fishermen. A small rocky outcrop called the Todden separates this from the adjacent (swimming) beach
