Super Location

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It has a great location - very close to ferries, pubs, restaurants and independent shops - with an M&S Simply Food just round the corner ! The accommodation was very clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen and living room are on the first floor, reached by quite a steep, twisting staircase. The main bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor, the other two bedrooms are on the third floor, each reached by a fairly steep, twisting staircase. Probably not suitable for those with mobility problems. This is not clear from the details. I would suggest taking smaller luggage ( airline cabin sized ) rather than large cases as it would be difficult getting larger ones up the stairs. The garage is not adjacent to the property, but a short walk away. It is possible to unload / load luggage just outside the apartment if there is on road space. There is no wifi connection.

Better than the photo's!

A fantastic apartment, for the able bodied, located in the heart of Dartmouth. Sleeps 6 plus 1, but there ended up being 3 adults and it was more than big enough. 3 excellent bedrooms, big kitchen/diner/lounge, big bathroom and an extra washroom! If you have very young children or anyone not too stable on their legs then it probably wouldn't be for you because you step out straight into a road off a step and the staircase is a tight spiral. But if you do not have these concerns that it is perfect!

Great modern apartment, perfect location

We had a great week long stay at this property. It was spotlessly clean, smelt lovely (air freshener in the hall!), beds were really comfy and kitchen was really well equipt. The location is perfect; right in the centre of the town, just a few minutes walk to the river front. Would definitely recommend. Had detailed info from owner for straight forward arrival; parking provided near to apartment, which was great as Dartmouth was full of visitors! There was lots of leaflets in the apartment re things to do including maps of the area which were really useful. Will be visiting Dartmouth again that's for sure!

Fantastic location right in the heart of Dartmouth

A group of us stayed at Foss End for Dartmouth Regatta in August and had a fantastic time. The apartment is so central in Dartmouth - just a few steps from some of the prettiest shopping streets in town and a few minutes walk from the Kingswear Ferry, which was important for us as we had to get over to the Marina every day. The apartment is cosy but easily big enough for 6 people and has the added benefit of a garage. The value of a guaranteed place to put the car is a rarity in central Dartmouth. The apartment is well provisioned with everything you'll need, and for shopping - Marks and Spencer food store is literally round the corner. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the owner provided all the necessary info (joining instructions etc.) in good time. Also, he provided a very helpful service when we left and I'd forgotten my phone charger in the apartment!

I highly recommend this apartment if you want a convenient, comfortable and relaxing stay, right in the heart of delightful Dartmouth.

Great location. A little noisy with windows open at night because of birds.

The location is great and the amenities very good. If you want to cook you have everything you need.

The stairs are not for anyone with disabilities but the bathroom, family room and bedrooms have very good spaces and we would definetly stay there again.
