Our luxury 3 bedroom (3 bathroom/toilet) detached villa with spectacular views is situated in a hillside position, conveniently located for all the amenities of this five star resort. Ideal for families or groups. It is almost adjacent to one of three shared community pools and minutes walk to other pools, family-friendly restaurants, bars, shops and tennis. The villa is spacious and modern with full air conditioning/heating throughout. It is equipped with an LCD TV with Sky channels, DVD, stereo and broadband. Full sports rights for 8 people entitle guests to Residents' discounts off golf green fees and tennis. Spacious accommodation and a superb location make this villa a popular choice with families. With ample outdoor furniture, our villa has 3 terraces providing sun or shade all year round, built-in and gas BBQs and wonderful 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding countryside to the Mar Menor. An external staircase leads to the roof-top sun terrace which catches the sun all day long, even in winter. The bedrooms are all located on the lower level of the villa. Car hire is not essential but would help with food shopping and golf outings. There is parking nearby. Many beaches are to be found a short drive from the villa, with La Manga Club's own private cove less than ten minutes by car. You can also visit the beautiful, long white sands of Calblanque National Park, where wild flamingoes can be spotted on the salt pans, or the Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches on either side of La Manga strip, all within fifteen minutes drive away from our villa.

We are a family of five who have been holidaying in La Manga Club, summer and winter, for many years now and love all that La Manga Club has to offer a family like ours. The tennis club is our absolute favourite, with the friendly and skilled coaches catering for all ages and abilities. Whether it's tennis, golf, swimming, sun-bathing, spa visits, fitness or exploring the beaches and towns nearby, there's always something to keep everyone happy!

We are delighted to own this fabulous villa which is in the perfect location to walk to sports and amenities in La Manga Club centre and to let our youngsters, now growing up, have freedom in the resort. We also enjoy the peace and quiet as we take in the views on the large sunny terrace or relax by the pool.

Mar de Cristal: (10 minutes drive) the closest of many safe beaches gently shelving into the Mar Menor. Great for young children and watersports.

La Manga beach: (15 minutes drive) 16 kilometres of sandy Mediterranean beach.

Los Alcazares: (20 minutes drive) long sandy beach and promenade.

Must see - Roman theatre at Cartagena followed by boat trip round the bay.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Our home is within the community of Los Altos II. It is popular with both families seeking summer sunshine and adults looking for some time to themselves. The villa has both air-conditioning and heating so is suitable for summer and winter months. La Manga Club offers a Kids' Club with qualified English speaking nursery staff who can also provide baby sitting services. Stair gates, cots and high chairs can be provided for a small extra charge by prior arrangement. Outside: The large dining terrace has a brick BBQ and magnificent panoramic views across the Tennis Centre and South Course to the Mar Menor beyond. There's a small sheltered terrace to the front of the villa and a wonderful roof-top solarium with seats and sunbeds. Visitors to Los Altos II have the use of three shared pools. The closest is seconds away from the villa making it easy to pop back for chilled drinks or snacks. There are plenty of free sunbeds and parasols. Broad steps access the pool which is usually quiet and a beautiful place to relax, even in winter. Guests also have access to the main swimming pool with poolside bar/cafe and children's pool. Additional maid services available at extra cost.
