Spacious and comfy cottage with beautiful location

On arrival we received a complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits, which gave our holiday a very good start. The cottage was much more spacious than expected for 6 people we had lots of space and enjoyed hanging out in the communal areas. Around the corner to the cottage is a pub which does delicious home-made food. Also down the road is a restaurant which does amazing food too! My friends and I explored the area which I would highly recommend doing. Overall we had a great time at this cottage in a good location and lots of lovely places to eat. Would definitely return!

Lovely cosy cottage

My family and I stayed In Corner Cottage for a much needed three day break. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough!. It is a great place to stay. Helen And Mark made us all feel very welcome, Our 9 and 11year old sons had an amazing time fishing in the nearby river and playing in the local park, not to mention Abraham Heights. We all had a lovely break and are already planning a return in the New Year.

Fantastic!

We spent a third fantastic week in October at Corner Cottage. The property is warm and cosy, well supplied with absolutely everything. The cottage is a stones through from the River Wye and the village is very pretty and extremely friendly. Within the village there are 2 pubs both of which serve excellent food. There is a lot of information in the welcome folder including great walks. The Monsal trail is in easy walking distance and excellent for both walking and cycling. Chatsworth House is a 5 minute drive an Bakewell only 2. The courtyard is dog proof and a lovely suntrap! Helen and Mark were great from our initial enquiry all the way through to beyond our departure kindly forwarding on left possessions. We highly recommend Corner Cottage it is a fabulous base. We look forward to visit number four.

FABULOUS COTTAGE AND LOCATION

Perfect!! From the initial enquiry through to leaving. Mark and Helen were super helpful and had lots of great tips on things to do. The cottage is in the best location it could possibly be; two great pubs and a stones throw from the river and the gorgeous Sheepwash Bridge. We spent several hours there with the children, fishing in the crystal clear shallow waters. Lovely large grassy area opposite the cottage; perfect for a kick about or a game of rounders etc.

The cottage is beautifully kept and everything was spotless. Everything we needed was to hand. Great selection of books and games for the children (and adults!!).

I would love to visit again; still so much to do in the area and a few more days in Corner Cottage would be very welcome!
