The Mains House is a traditional two storey farmhouse, Upstairs: One double bedroom, One twin bedroom, Bathroom. Downstairs: One small bedroom with bunk beds, Kitchen/Dining room with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, Living room and enclosed garden. It is situated opposite the White Cottage in a group of buildings which includes the Estate workshops. It is close to the tennis court and has direct access to the Woodland Garden
Blackhills Estate consists of farms, woodlands and moorland. The cottages are situated in the grounds of Blackhills House at the centre of the Estate and are reached by a half-mile private (tarmac) drive. Particularly suitable for people who enjoy secluded walks. The 70 acre woodland garden with lochans, burns and rare plants is a particular attraction. The cottages have direct access to the gardens. All the cottages have central heating, wood burners or open fires and are equipped with television and the usual kitchen appliances. Properties are situated 6 miles from the coast, local facilities include Whisky trail, golf courses, riding, fishing and the Moray coast.

Notes on prices:
Low occupation discount - 10% off price where cottage is occupied by two persons sharing one bedroom.
If a cottage is booked for two or more weeks £20 may be deducted off second and subsequent weeks.

Hopeman (11 miles) - two beaches which are sheltered and clean.
Roseisle (15 miles) - Good beaches with pine woodland backdrop. Be prepared to be charged for parking.
Lossiemouth (8 miles) - Two beaches - Excellent walking on the west beach - good views of the RAF jets landing - right overhead!
Cullen (17 miles) - long clean beach, near the golf course. Lots of rocks and rock pools.
Findhorn (17 miles) Beautiful marina, dune walks, shingle and sand. Good pubs and cafes
