Why Jonathan Scott chose Fife & St Andrews

Crail is a lovely seaside town in a beautiful part of Scotland which is easily accessible from the east coast and the central belt.

It has something for everyone and there's always plenty going on from Golf to food and music festivals. Not forgetting the fresh lobster caught and cooked at the harbour.

Lovely apartment,excellent location, helpful information from owners re locality

We had a lovely stay in Crail - helped by the wonderful weather that week. Enjoyed revisiting old haunts and found owners recommendations re- restaurants very helpful.sadly couldn't try the Honeypot as it was closed but the coconut and cranberry scones in Julia's pantry to die for. Lovely coastal walks, rewarded with fantastic fish and chips by the harbour in Anstruther - best I've tasted! Also spent lovely day at Cambo House and gardens- wonderful woodland walks going down to the sea. Would also like to thank Jonathan and Jen for being so understanding when I messed up with dates of our visit!

Great weekend break

We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a wedding in Crail. Cottage was slightly larger than I was expecting, clean, with a bit of charm, and had everything that we could require. Comfortably fitted 4 adults and a 4 month old baby. Excellent communication from the owners who made sure we knew how to contact them if necessary. The East Neuk is a lovely area and we'd definitely recommend a visit to Crail and this accommodation.

Fabulous Return Visit

2nd visit to this gorgeous cottage and we loved staying here again as much as the first time. All mod cons and in a great location in the heart of the village, and just 2 mins stroll down to the beautiful harbour.

A Great Holiday Apartment

This holiday apartment fills all the boxes for me . It is so suitable that my daughter and l plus our little dog ,have returned several times......

It is situated in the heart of Crail village ..that means we can take advantage of attractions and restaurants in Crail as well as in villages in the area.

The apartment is extremely clean and well maintained with a beautiful courtyard garden which is very well kept .

I would recommend this property to friends and relatives.... But they would have to get in line behind me it is my intention to return as often as possible .

Cosy, comfortable and stylish

Stayed four nights at The Neuk in February. Found the property to be very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of original character but very stylishly modernised. Good quality furniture, beds and linen, lots of kitchen equipment and nice crockery/glasses etc. Modern shower room. Cupboard of games and DVD's which was a nice touch as was the welcome pack on arrival. Great location - just 5 minutes stroll from Crail harbour and the small beach, our daughter loved looking in the rock pools and scouring the beach for interesting shells. Explored most of the East Neuk - Anstruther, St Monans, Pittenweem and Elie during our stay as they are all very close to each other. Elie has the best beach. Did a couple of sections of the Fife coastal path. Great break.

The East Neuk towns of Anstruther (4 miles) and Elie (10 miles) are just a few minutes away to the south. St Andrews is 9 miles to the north.

Further Details:

Crail has a supermarket, bank (with ATM), hotel, pharmacy, post office, butcher, baker and delicatessen, as well as galleries and tea-rooms. There is also a museum and a pottery. Nearby St Andrews has an aquarium, University and the world famous Old Course. The Isle of May can be seen from the harbour and is a tourist attraction with puffins and seals to be seen in season.
