Lovely Clean Cozy Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Ideal location for exploring Pembrokeshire. The cottage contains everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. It is equipped to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean and cozy with gas fire and central heating. Decorated to a high standard, the cottage is exactly as you see it in the photo. Very friendly and approachable owners who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Highly Recommended to friends and relatives. It was recommended to me by my parents who have stayed here on many occasions. This is the second time I have stayed here and will be returning again.

Well located but bedroom and lounge need updating

  • 1 of 5

Rather dark and smelly, kitchen utensils include 1 bent and burnt wooden spoon, 1 old serving implement 1 old spatula, no ventilation in the kitchen. Seriously needs updating. When we complained about the 'Luxury King-sized bed' (4 inch lumpy mattress) the owner walked out. But his wife did go and get a mattress topper which meant we could at least get to sleep. Its a pity because this could be nice if they spent some money on it.

Owner's Response: Our cottages were refurbished just 4 seasons ago and since that time we have received only compliments, particularly regarding comfort and cleanliness. We dealt with the comment regarding the bed, to the customers satisfaction, within 12 hours of receiving the e-mail and were not made aware of any other issues at that time, but note that it is well documented that the drying of laundry in an enclosed space quickly creates an unpleasant smell. It is unfortunate that our cottage did not meet customer expectations on this occasion.
