Our idyllic cliff-top location is unrivalled and there's simply nothing better than relaxing and admiring the beautiful headland views...
We took advantage of the Winter Warmer offer and stayed for four nights midweek with our dog. The break was excellent value - we used the voucher for Waves on our first night for takeaway pizzas and garlic bread which left us very full! - and also took advantage of the spa vouchers to enjoy a couple of relaxing treatments in the beautiful spa with fantastic views of the bay. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly and clearly enjoyed working at Celtic Haven. We would have liked to try the Waves restaurant but dogs aren't allowed and we didn't want to leave him on his own in a strange place.
We had chosen the Corn Store, which is one of the older properties on site, as it was the largest one bedroom cottage and had its own conservatory. It was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, but it could have done with more heating in the lounge area.
Celtic Haven is very well situated for Tenby and trips to the coast and the area is very beautiful. You can also walk to the beach from the complex - it takes 10/15 minutes down a steep hill. The pub in the village was unfortunately closed until March and we found that several pubs and shops in the area were also shut at this time of year.
We haven't stayed in Pembrokeshire before and wanted something a little different. We stayed in a cosy traditional cottage for two with all the normal self-catering trappings. What made Celtic Haven different was its position and all the available facilities. We had the pool, gym, spa, golf course and restaurant within a minutes walk of the cottage!
Everyone staying at Celtic Haven was really friendly and the staff could't do more. We had a small problem with the dishwasher which was fixed immediately.
Celtic Haven is also in a fantastic position. We love walking, and the coastal path is easily accessed giving a stunning cliff-top walk into Tenby.
All in all we had a fantastic weekend - even though the weather wasn't brilliant -and we'll definitely be back!
lovely clean well presented cottage .great facilities pool spa golf course .excellent location for surrounding attractions, amazing choice of fod in waves resteraunt all round brilliant holiday
My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay in the Flemish cottage at Celtic Haven. We made good use of the swimming pool and golf course but what we loved most was being really close to the coast path. Pembrokeshire is so beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the walks in the area, and could walk all the way to Tenby or Manorbier straight from Celtic Haven. A must for walkers, but I would imagine it would be popular with families having good facilities on site and being close to Tenby with its beaches.
