Bungalow in Corton, Lowestoft, Suffolk, England - Cliff Top Position, Steps Down To Sea. Short Walks To Lovely Beaches. Lots Of Local Activities.

Hi, we are Barry & Jo, and this is our lovely holiday bungalow on the gorgeous Suffolk coast. Whether you want the bright lights of the pleasure beach at Great Yarmouth or the thrills of Pleasurewood Hills, the fantastic beaches of Lowestoft and Gorleston on Sea or the timeless beauty of the Broads Number 8 is perfectly positioned. In front of the property is a large deck with table and chairs, which leads onto an open grassed area where youngsters can play safely. The park has a lovely covered communal pool, mini gym and a small children's play area. It is a quiet park with a great value bar/restaurant where you can enjoy music and quiz nights, Sunday roasts and quality beers and wines. The site also has a small shop, laundrette and hair salon. Buses travel from just outside the gates to Southwold, Lowestoft, Norwich and Yarmouth, should you want to leave the car behind (and maybe sample some Adnams in Southwold). There are golf courses locally and sea fishing trips from Lowestoft. Corton is a perfect location for busy days and restful nights.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen including tea towels is supplied, guests are required to bring their own bath, pool and beach towels. Other: The decking at the front of the property is south facing and sheltered from breezes making it the perfect place for breakfasts, coffees or evening drinks.

A fantastic holiday property for a family of four

The property was very clean and met all of our needs. It is in a nice holiday park, overlooking the sea, with access to a restaurant and bar. Can recommend the food and my boys were particularly thrilled with the free Wifi . There is a lovely indoor pool to use as well. There is also a little shop that caters for those things you have forgotten. There are two pubs within walking distance for another choice in food. The property is situated close to Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth and we were particularly lucky with the weather on the week we went so we could visit the beach quite a few of the days. Good access to Oulten Broads too.

We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Peaceful location with everything we needed

The property was clean and light and well equipped. It was a pleasure to be there. The kids enjoyed the pool. We liked the surrounding area and the peace and quiet of the park. Highly recommend to all.

Coast/Beach:

The bungalow is at Waterside Park which is located directly on top of the cliffs. The Park has a code entry gate which leads down steps to the sea, a sea wall walk in either direction leads to lovely sandy beaches, Lowestoft North one way and Gorleston on Sea in the other.

Refundable Damage Deposit £50

Booking Notes:
A 50% deposit will be required at time of booking, remainder to be paid at least 21 days before start of holiday. A £50 cleaning deposit is required which will be charged only in exceptional circumstances to cover damages or extra cleaning due to neglect or misuse. One well behave dog can be accomodated, at an extra cost of £15 per week to cover the extra cleaning involved.

Changeover Day:
In high season changeover day will be Saturday, at other times of the year we will be flexible wherever possible.

Notes on prices:
for late bookings ( within 10 days of the start of your stay) please call us, we'll always try and offer a discount.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
