Loudoun Mains Country Cottages is a small family run Holiday Cottage complex

Loudoun Mains Holiday Cottage complex comprises of 15 varying size units all set in the converted farm steading that is Loudoun Mains. We are situated in the heart of the Ayrshire countryside high up on the hills overlooking the Irvine Valley although we are only two miles from the nearest Tesco and Coop and just a short walk to the pub downhill (Best get a taxi back!)We have a Country Club on site with its own swimming pool, Sauna and two very well equipped gymnasiums which is complimentary to all Holiday guests. All our cottages are WI FI enabled although due to our location we find that the WiFi speeds are not very fast (perfectly acceptable to send and receive emails and web browsing although downloading or streaming movies is painfully slow). There is a children play area with a small tree house and chute and swings for the more adventurous and a lovely fish pond with shelters and impromptu BBQ areas, all in all a very secluded spot, great for nature lovers. We have a few chickens which provide us with the most delicious eggs and a couple of goats which love to be walked.

Please note that we carry out swimming lessons for children in our pool at various times throughout the week, if the use of the pool is paramount to your enjoyment of the holiday please contact us to enquire the exact times and days to allow you to be fully informed before making any reservations.

Lanfine View is part of the Loudoun Mains Holiday Cottage complex. It sleeps 6/7 in its 3 x Bedrooms and has full access to Loudoun Mains Country Club with swimming pool and gymnasiums (WI FI enabled). This self-catering holiday cottage is the result of careful restoration and conversion of the existing farm buildings, it is very airy and light with awesome south facing views over Ayrshire. The ground floor comprises of an open plan living room and kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. The living area has seating for 6/7 with large TV and DVD player. There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor also and a wc cloakroom. Upstairs is accessed via the hardwood open plan staircase which leads to the viewing gallery. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and the main bathroom with separate bath and shower. There is a private patio with patio furniture and this cottage has level access from the car park and is suitable for people who are not fully able
