Guestbook comments from the owner

My daughter and her two sons loved the chalet. They found everything they needed and the boys loved their bunk beds. The site was very quiet, but they were happy with that. The location of the chalet was on a main road and they found it very convenient for getting to all the nearby beaches, and the ferry. They went crabbing in Dartmouth most evenings. The boys are nattering at Mum to book again for 2014!

Fantastic Chalet, lovely décor, very clean and really well equipped. We stayed for a week with 3 yr old daughter and baby son and had a brilliant holiday. Plenty of space in the Chalet for us all, grassy area outside with no cars nearby for our 3yr old to play on. Dartmouth was great with ferry rides, crabbing, lovely park, beaches, ice creams etc and nearby steam train, rare breeds park and much more. We hope to return in the future. Wendy Dublin

A pleasantly presented and well equipped chalet, let down by poor standard of cleanliness.

  • 3 of 5

First impressions of the internal of this chalet were good, an attractive seaside themed living space equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. The wall mounted TV in the bedroom was a real bonus, good reception too.

Downside - I hated going into the bathroom, the shower cubicle was filthy and the grouting between the tiles black with mold from top to bottom. Also pervasive smell of damp. Cleanliness is a very important issue and should not be allowed to slip, even late into the season. An issue that is simple to resolve.

Great Holiday

  • 4 of 5

Chalet was so homely and cosy and had everything you needed.

Location was great. Norton Park is surrounded my beautiful views. Dartmouth Harbour was a 2 minute drive away and the views fro the harbour are fantastic.

We had a very pleasant stay and would go back again.

Site is looking it's age but this property certainly one of the more maintained, however shower area needs attention. Also bedrooms could do with mirrors near to the sockets

Lovely chalet

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying at this clean, modern, well equipped chalet. It is south facing so gets good sun shining into the lounge. The grounds are well maintained.

The site itself has no facilities but there is a Sainsbury and Aldi a mile away. A new swimming pool is due to open in the autumn opposite the Sainsbury store.

Dartmouth is 2 miles away by car, park and ride or bus stop outside the site. No pavement on busy road outside site, so not really walkable.

A great location for sightseeing in South Devon. Great for a 2 or 4 people. We would definitely stop at this lovely chalet again.

good value, nice place

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our time in this nicely decorated well equipped cabin in Dartmouth, which is a beautiful place. Set on a hill above the town its very quiet but all the amenities are only a 2 minute drive away. Though we had a problem with the heating on the first night the owners sorted it out straight away and were easy to communicate with throughout. Would recommend it. Thanks Tony and Lisa!
