About the property

Cottage in Paul, Mousehole, Cornwall, England, Close Proximity to Mousehole Harbour

Pedn Brose cottage has just been fully refurbished to a high standard that we like to keep. This property is our home from home and is much loved by all our family. Our cottage is ideal for memorable family breaks by the coast. The cottage is in a small friendly village with beautiful surroundings. The village church has a monument and is the burial ground for the last native Cornish speaking lady from Cornwall.

About Miss Stephanie Rosier

We are a young family who bought this cottage in 2013. We have completely refurbished it to a high standard. Creating a home from home and a wonderful holiday home for our guests to enjoy. We have added lots of personal touches to create comfort in all rooms, including pictures, cushions and decorative items. The house is very well equipped, making it a very comfortable place to stay.

Why Miss Stephanie Rosier chose South West Cornwall

After many years of holidaying in the south of Cornwall, we fell in love with the area. It wasn't a hard decision to buy a property here in Paul.

The cottage is in a small, quaint village with a friendly local atmosphere. The cottage is only minutes from Mousehole harbour, which is the ideal location for us. We have spent many days at the harbour with our family on the beach, and enjoying the atmosphere with the locals and holiday makers.

What makes this cottage unique

We would highly recommend the area to anyone that has not visited this part of Cornwall or who have, and are yet to stay in the area and experience the local life.

The cottage is a short drive into Penzance (approx. 7 mins) for all your local conveniences. Close to St Michaels Mount, St Ives and many scenic walks.

A good base for seeing Cornwall, nothing is very far away, we had a great time and did loads of things with the grandsons, trips to Lands End , St Michaels Mount, Mousehole ( just down the lane) and Cornwall Gold to name but a few.

An excellent and spacious cottage on the hill above Mousehole

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this cottage for a few nights in May with three friends over from the US. The cottage was brilliant - spacious rooms, well furnished and well equipped. We ate breakfast in the garden on the sunny days and enjoyed the comfort of the sitting room after days of walking and visiting galleries. We coped with only one bathroom - which had an excellent shower as well as a spacious bath. .

This was a great base for visiting this part of Cornwall (we visited Mousehole, St Ives, Penzance, Newlyn, Lands End, St Michael's Mount) - all within an easy drive of the cottage. We ate excellent locally caught fish in the Kings Arms In Paul (almost next door to the cottage). The 'garden of reflection' just off the car park was inspiring - we only noticed it as we were about to leave the village.

I would recommend the cottage for families, groups of friends or anyone wanting somewhere peaceful to stay whilst visiting the wonders of this part of Cornwall.

Lovely, peaceful home away from home

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is set in a peaceful village about 5 minutes walk from Mousehole. The cottage is extremely well equipped and has everything you need for a memorable holiday. We felt at home the moment we stepped inside the door. The owners were kind enough to allow us to have our dog with us and he loved the enclosed back garden. Thank you to Stephanie and family for allowing us to stay in their lovely cottage

Exceeded expectations

  • 5 of 5

What a great cottage, in a great location. We stayed in August with another couple and their two kids (10 and 14) and we were all very comfortable and happy. The directions were a bit more confusing than they needed to be (opposite the church - turn in at the pub - you're the next house down the hill- would suffice) but we got there! We wanted for nothing in the collage and made use of the BBQ. The hot water is controlled remotely by internet so a blip in the connection left us without but we phoned the owners and it was sorted immediately. We finally found the recycling bags that had been tidied away in the back shed (every county does this differently so this could have been clearer). But these are minor things, I would and have recommended this cottage. It was nice to be just outside Mousehall and to walk into town (you really don't want to drive if you can help it). There are many places to eat and visit, don't overlook the cafe at Lamorna, it's better than you'd think!
