This property is in a fantastic location only a few minutes walk from the beach, it is ideal for 2 families or a larger family group. A newly refitted kitchen diner has views of the sea. The large lounge area is ideal for relaxing. The annex and games room can accommodate a second family or move the kids! The property has a large enclosed garden. All new bathrooms in 2018.

There are a variety of wet suits and shoes, body boards, buckets, spades and various games available for your use in the garage.

Lovely home

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Lovely location and everything you would need including comfortable beds and lots of space inside and out. Will definitely book again.

Widemouth is a favourite family destination for us. Fabulous house and location, perfect for the beach holiday we wanted. Black Rock beach was the right end of the beach to be this summer due to the sizeable stones on the northern end of the bay this year. Great to have the additional outdoor shower for rinsing off, and generous seating in the living room meant that we didn't feel on top of each other when we were all in there.

About the host

Since purchasing this property in 2014 we have replaced all of the bathrooms in the main building, and replaced all of the flooring following a flood at the beginning of 2020.

At some point in the future, probably when the children have left school we hope to move here.

Why they chose this property

It's a beautiful location and so close to one of the great surfing beaches in the UK. I have family about 5 miles away and love spending time in this part of the country.
