It has great natural light throughout the property as there are large doors leading outside from all rooms within the property. For a romantic getaway or family holiday there is no other place to visit, there are plenty of different seating areas in sun and shade and a large garden at the back of the house where the children can play and chase a football all day. There are no steps inside or out so ideal for young children, Grandma and even in a wheelchair as the Villa has had been built for wheelchair access through with wide doors, totally open plan and a bulit in ramp leading up to the swimming pool. There is a community bar less than five minutes walk from the Villa which provide tapas, a tennis court and a play ground. It is open every weekend and in the warmer months every day, it is very casual but good food and an ideal place to go for a few drinks and not have to drive home. Hi, I’m Harriette I look after the properties with my husband Alfie.

We rent three properties in Carmona, one of which is ours, it is a fantasitc three bedroom chalet on a huge plot which is shared with our house, where we live with our little daughter Athena and our fat, lazy cats.

We have been renting another property for about three years owned by some of our good Spanish friends who use the house only for occasional holidays. It is a gorgeous two bedroom chalet on a huge private plot and a perfect location for any relaxing holiday in the sun.

Due to demand and on our visitors request we have now taken on a third, larger three bedroom property which is only a two minute walk from our two bed property which is ideal for big groups visiting who want to be close but not too close

Amazing spacious villa both inside and out.

An amazing villa with all the amenities for a perfect holiday. Lots of space, both inside and out. Great location for discovering the 'real' Spain. Harriette, the owner, was brilliant, making us very welcome and gave us invaluable information with all the things to see and do. Very easy access to airport and Seville. I would highly recommend this villa !

Such a pleasant holiday

We were so pleased with our week long holiday home. Not only did we have glorious sunshine while we were there (so that we could make full use of the sparkling pool), but we thoroughly enjoyed the cool, well-equipped house with its tiled floors and blue shutters.

The gated community has a wonderful clubhouse with the friendliest of locals and the biggest of drinks for the most ridiculously low prices.

This is definitely a place we would love to visits again. Low points were the lack of garden games, the shabby thatching and the washing machine that didn't work. Highlights were the gorgeous pool, the enormous size of the bedrooms, the friendly locals and the locality being so close to Carmona, Seville and Córdoba.

Do yourself a huge favour and book soon!!

Tip Top Villa

We were a family of five adults staying in the villa for one week. We had a great stay in Carmona and loved every aspect of both the villa and the beautiful town of Carmona. The villa was very well equipped (except for a decent sized chopping board!), and the pool was well maintained and clean. The villa is very spacious both inside and out, plenty of different areas to sit in, making it ideal for all times of the day whether you want to sit in the sun or avoid the heat of the day. The villa was extremely clean and tidy on arrival too. Carmona is a very easy 10-15 min drive away, and it's a beautiful, traditional Spanish town, friendly locals who are only too pleased to help you despite our poor, almost non-existent Spanish! The Monday market is well worth a visit. We'd definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing week in quiet surroundings. Good value too. Thank you Harriette!

Delightful villa in large gardens with lovely pool

Perfect. The facilities and level of comfort at the villa are top-rate. Inside is spacious, very well-equipped, modern and luxurious. The gardens are beautiful, well-maintained, and provide something for everyone - pool and sunbathing, BBQ area, shaded area, large lawn, and plenty of spaces to sit or dine outside. The villa is located in a peaceful area and within short easy drive of Carmona which is a gem of a village/town with plenty of restaurants and historic buildings and streets. Seville was very accessible from the villa too. Harriette (Manager) is very helpful and informative. I would recommend this property to anyone (although a car is essential), and would be delighted to go back again.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAY

We had an amazing holiday here.

The house is spacious, stylish, well equipped and air-conditioned (which is vital in the Spanish summer), and has a great outdoor area where the kids can play, and swim safely and freely.

There is a 'Social Club' on the urbanisation site which we enjoyed visiting for lunch. It is frequented by lots of local, and very vocal, old boys, and is very Spanish!

The house is fantastically located near Carmona, a beautiful town with just enough tourist interest to make it friendly, yet keep it very Spanish. We loved family dinners on the main square, watching and listening to the birds come in to roost on the trees lining the street, while the children played.

Seville is very close by and a joy to visit, even with the kids in tow, and even in the August heat.

Cannot recommend highly enough and booked our return visit before we had even left!

Lovely villa; lovely area; lovely holiday

The villa and the holiday exceeded our already high expectations. Beautiful villa in a lovely setting and within a very secure urbanisation of Spanish families. The cleanliness and villa facilities are the best we've had compared with various other holidays. Carmona and the wider Sevilla area is beautiful

(and hot!). Carmona is a lovely area in the evening with plenty of restaurants and tapas bars. Harriette was very accommodating and helped with orientation around city highlights. 2 adults plus our 18yr old son and 16yr old daughter loved our stay at the villa. Highly recommended

Location

From the Owner

This property belongs to some friends who have recently decided to move back to live in Carmona, so after looking for another larger rental property, I was thrilled when this was offered to us to rent and look after for them. It is in a great area with Carmona, the airport and Sevilla just around the corner, it is very tranquil however only 5 minutes drive to the main road leading to Sevilla or Cordoba. There is also the option for those who don't want to drive to much to go out to the community bar which is only a few minutes walk away, they have food, drinks, tennis court and a play ground and in the warmer months open pretty much every day and evening.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Horse riding country hacks can be arranged where I stable my horse about 10 minutes from the house for €30 for a 1.5 hour ride. We can also put guests in contact with skydiving and golf; if guests have any other special requests I will do my best to find out what options are available.

Coast/Beach:

The closest beaches are in Jerez, about an hour away and if you drive another half an hour past Jerez you will find yourself in Cadiz where you can go to some of the main surfing beaches such as Caños de Meca and El Palmar. Portugal is a similar distance and has some fantastic beaches including the Isla Tavira beach where you can even camp overnight.

Travel:

It is highly recommended to rent a car for the trip, if you find car rentals very difficult or impossible, we will try and find a car solution for you.

Sevilla airport is only 15 minutes drive and now accessible from most of UK’s main airports, Jerez airport is 1 hour, 10 minutes and Malaga airport is about 2 hours, 15 minutes drive.

Distances:

The property is situated just a five minute drive from Carmona town, which is one of the oldest Roman towns in Spain and there still stands many Roman monuments such as the Roman town wall and Fort which is now the Parador and a beautiful place to go for morning coffee overlooking the views of the plains. In Carmona you will find all the essentials from local supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants.

Further Details:

Sevilla is a 20 minute drive and a city that everyone should visit, for a little of Sevilla’s history some of the must places to see are the famous Cathedral where Christopher Columbus is buried, the Alcazar Gardens and the Roman Settlement and Coliseum Itallica which remains almost intact.

For the children and playful adults, Isla Magica is a great day out, there are plenty of rides and attractions for everyone.

The nightlife in Sevilla is vibrant, bars and nightclubs all over the city; Calle Betis is situated along the canal and a well-known nightspot for tourists.

Security, damage and electricity deposit of either (1) €250 OR (2) €100 & GBP 130 to be paid at time of arrival, for UK visitors a part sterling and part euro deposit is accepted so not to have to travel home with too many leftover euros. The Villa is within a gated community so it does make it that much safer, the house was designed and built by the current property owners and you can see much love has gone into it. In summer the house naturally feels cool, light and spacious throughout, even for a family of 7 visiting there is so much room. The log fire in winter makes it a very cosy place to visit and the large covered outside dining and seating area a wonderful spot to sit any time of the year looking out of the garden and to the pool. There is a large garden surrounding the property making it a fun and safe place for children to play hide and seek, football or have a picnic. Would recommend for all ages, everyone will enjoy this gorgeous holiday home.

  • Notes on accommodation: We charge a checkout fee which will depend on the number of rooms used: 1 room: €30. 2 rooms: €35. 3 rooms: €40 For guests arriving either late Saturday evening, Sunday or bank holidays we offer a free of charge supermarket shopping service, just let us know at time of booking should you wish us to do a shop for you. A week before arrival send us your shopping list, we'll keep the supermarket receipt to be reimbursed at time of check-in. Outside: The ground to the property are 2500 meters, all of which are private, the terrace is covered to usable 12 months of the year with a dining and seating area. There is a separate covered outside dining area with gas BBQ just behind the pool and utility room. There is also a coal BBQ for those who do not like to use gas. The swimming pool at night time has lights inside the pool, ideal for a romantic midnight swim. The pool is 4.5 meters by 8 meters and is surrounded by grass and a small covered area to escape the Sevilla sun, it consists of several sunbeds Utility Room: Within the pool pump room there is a washing machine and dryer. Some little baby birds have made a nest in here as the owners left the window open recently and I don't have the heart to evict them but I expect they will have flown away by early July. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen will be provided clean and ironed every 7 days. If requested more frequently it can be provided for an extra cost of €7 per set of bedding. Guests are expected to keep the property clean however a cleaning service can be provided for €40. Other: There is super fast internet through wifi accessible in the living area, terrace and throughout the Villa.
