The house is situated in a calm area in the centre of Sault. A vibrant village to the east of mount Ventoux. Famous for its lavender production and the unique production of "epeautre" a type of cereal used in local cooking. Sault is one of the six villages protected by UNESCO for its beauty and charm. The ancient construction of the house keeps its interior cool in the summer and every care has been taken to preserve the charm of the house whilst offering every modern comfort.

We had a wonderful time staying at Roy and Mirielles 'I Oustau De Mireio' home in the very picturesque village of Sault. Roy and Mirielle met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome and at home. The house itself is very 'Provence' and is beautiful and quite quirky in a nice way. Tasteful decour is relaxing and pretty. The house is situated right in the heart of the very pretty and peaceful village of Sault, ideal for visiting other places of interest in Provence and with some nice little restaurants and bars. It is very quiet and if that is your like it is ours you will thoroughly enjoy your stay here.
Exquisite Village House
This is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. The house is very conveniently situated in a quiet street in the centre of the village. It is very spacious, comfortable, exquisitely decorated and and has been equipped with the utmost thought and care. Roy and Mireille welcomed us very warmly with a gift of wine and home made jam, a lovely touch. We stayed from late August to September but would love to return in spring. Many thanks for making our stay in Sault so memorable.
Pleasant Town House in Centre Sault
We had a pleasant stay in this newly restored old town house right in the centre of Sault. Very clean and tidy property, with loads of room for two people over 3 floors. It is a very old traditional french house located in a narrow pedistrian only street, with plenty of free parking close by. Very well equipped and owners very friendly and helpful. Good value rental.
Note that the staircase is old and has a few twists and may be difficult for some, this is pointed out by the owner in the advert.
Ein wunderschönes Domizil in einem schönen alten provencalischem Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr charmant und wunderschön eingerichtet.

Sault is a vibrant small town/village situated in the centre of the famous lavender fields of provence. The town celebrates the lavender festival on the 15th of August every year. The smaller village of Ferrassieres 9km celebrates the lavender the first Sunday of July.It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has views of the spectacular mount Ventoux well known for its "Tour de France" stages.
There are hiking and cycling trails to follow for the novice and more serious.
Further a field there is the fabulous "Gorge de la Nesque" with wonderful stops and view points all marked.
The weekly market on Wednesday is a celebration of local food and produce, perfect for cooking evening suppers in our well equipped kitchen.
There are a host of restaurants to choose from perfect for simple suppers to more fine dining for a more special occasions.
The town offers a lavender distillery, an organic soap factory both welcoming visitors and offering tours.

A damage deposit of 250 Euro is required upon arrival. This is returned on the day of departure.
Changeovers are on Saturday, but may be flexible on request.
