About Lorna Christine Sandry

I advertise this property on behalf of my brother.

I live less than 5 minutes by car from The Roundhouse, should there be any problems.

Why Lorna Christine Sandry chose Cornwall

The Round House is a converted barn with much of the original character maintained including thick stone walls and exposed beams.

The property is 'tucked away' offering privacy and seclusion.

Walk to the film location of Poldark.... Three days of filming took place along our privately owned coastline.

What makes this barn unique

The Round House is a peaceful hideaway.

It is possible to walk though the farm land to the coastal path which takes you to Porthcothan Bay and Bedruthan Steps and beyond.....

Newquay, Wadebridge and Padstow are all within an easy drive.

Amazing cottage!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was so lovely to stay in - it had everything we needed for our short break. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival, the beds were very comfortable and importantly the shower was very good! As only on a short break I don't think we made full use of the cottage but it would be perfect for a longer stay. Lorna was very helpful and answered any queries I had about the property.

I would definitely come back here again and am looking to book our next stay again now!

Lovely cottage in beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

The Roundhouse is in the perfect location near Porthcothan on the North Coast of Cornwall. Whether it's a relaxing holiday by the sea or something more adventurous like surfing and cycling then this cottage offers everything that you need for a perfectly placed holiday. As in typical barn conversion, the three bedrooms downstairs are very roomy and have all been equipped with very comfortable beds and lovely furniture. Upstairs provides a light and spacious open plan living room and kitchen/dining area. The cottage is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very relaxing holiday. The whole place is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, warm and carpeted throughout.

From the cottage it's an easy walk to the local beaches and beautiful coast path meaning that you could easily abandon the car for the week and find somewhere different to visit every day.

Within a very short drive are many other beautiful Cornish beaches as well as Padstow with it's bustling harbour and great range of places to eat and shop. Slightly further afield if you want to discover more of Cornwall is the Eden Project, National Trust Gardens at Llanhydrock and St Ives.

The friendly, helpful owners live locally should you need them or have any queries about the local area.

The cottage would suit a family and would even be a perfect retreat for a couple. I would highly recommend this cottage and have already booked myself in for my next holiday.
