Total faulty towers

On our arrival as I was carrying the cases into the bedroom the plinth fell off the kitchen unit to start with. When we went to have a shower in the evening the shower head hose pipe was ripped and water went all over the place. This was replaced by the owner with one that didn't for the cradle and had to be forced in to keep,it in position. There was a grab hand rail on the tiles to help get in and out and when I touched it it slid all over the wall. On removing it I found the suckers were made away with slime and grime and had obviously never been cleaned for some time. The next thing when we did turn the shower on we found the pipes had been connected the wrong way round cold was hot and hot was cold. On opening the oven door it came out of its housing, no screws and inside we found a frying pan full of old oil. We then found that the sink was leaking and inside the cupboard was all wet, again this was fixed when we informed the owner. The towels in the bathroom had been washed with other items and had dye marks on them, the pillows on the bed were very grubby. My wife thought she had lost her phone so I pulled out the bedside cabinet to find underneath had an inch of dust and dirt and also a number of Durex packets that had been opened and thrown on the floor. I then removed the cushions from the bed settee in the living room again there was an inch of dirt around the rim below the cushions. All the drawer and doors on the two small wardrobes were loose and the doors misfitting.

Had it not been for the fact that the week we had booked was incredible weather wise we would have come straight home. The owner has been contacted and promised a refund but as of yet we have received nothing. Would we return I think not. The location of the flat is ideal and the views are stunning from the inside looking out but looking inside its the horrors we found very very disappointing indeed.

This was our third visit to this beautiful apartment with its amazing views and stunning sunsets, I don't usually leave reviews but felt that given the very negative comments left by a previous guest I had to put the record straight. Our first visit to this apartment was aprox 18 mths ago and we stayed again some 6 months ago, and I would probably agree that the apartment was in need of a little TLC at that time (but nothing that a coat of paint wouldn't cure and certainly not dirty!). But during our most recent visit all had been freshened up and redecorated with some new equipment and as always spotlessly clean (none of our previous visits had raised any concerns in that department). The only problem we had was trying to get the telly tuned in but a quick phone call to the very friendly owner and he arrived within the hour to show us how to work it (I've always been a bit of a technophobe!!)

This apartment is situated right on West Shore the quieter side of this beautiful Victorian seaside resort and is only a 10 minute walk to the busier side of North Shore where there are many curious and interesting little shops nestled in among the bigger stores that you would expect to find. There are some lovely little eating places in the area and the views are breathtaking especially from the large bay window in the lounge which looks right over towards Angelsey and Puffin Island, I miss sitting there in the mornings watching the world go by.

We will be going again and are already booked for next year and I would heartily recommend this apartment to anyone.

Stunning position let down by disappointing flat.

We chose this flat for its views and position at the quieter end of Llandudno. From those points of view, we were not disappointed. The flat however was a total let down. We had to park round the back, where our first impression was of weeds and rubbish and general neglect.(This was cleaned up but not until Thursday). Inside, the flat was dirty, the fridge had not been wiped out, the drawers and cupboards were dirty, the extractor fan was dirty round the controls and the lights were not working. There was a lack of basic equipment. The bathroom was "manky" with a smelly toilet, black mould on the tile grouting and brown stains round the ceiling. The bedroom smelt stale with a very dirty carpet. I actually cried when I saw the state of the place. I'm afraid I could go on! We immediately e mailed the owner with only a couple of our complaints but to date have received no reply. The flat is very tired and not up to the standard we expect from a holiday let. We usually pay around this price but on this occasion we did not get value for money. I'm afraid I cannot recommend this flat, except for the outstanding views.

Owner's Response: This review is utter fabrication, I must refute everything that has been written. I have no idea whatsoever what compels individuals to do this (and anonymously) and can catagorically state that I have had no contact over any issues with anyone. I am convinced this must be the work of some internet troll? In an effort to ensure future guests that this is the work of a prankster I will urge the next two sets of guests to write reviews so that any future guests can have a true reflection of the condition and amenities as they are completely up to date and independent. Further to this I will personally guarantee any future guests that if they are able to identify truthfully any single one of the issues this vexatious individual has apparently identified I will refund the rental immediately, this is so far outside the realms of common decency I am completely lost for words and will make enquiries with the site administrators how this false review can be removed, meantime of course damage is being done by this awful inaccurate review over which I have no control. I sometimes despair and worry over human nature and what drives people to such unspeakable actions
