Apartment in Alfaz del Pi, near Albir/Benidorm, Costa Blanca, Spain - Peaceful Location Yet Only Two Minutes Drive To The Busy Town Of Alfaz For Shops, Bars Etc.

Our one bedroom ground floor apartment has been recently renovated to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. There are two bathrooms, so one each!

The apartment is adjacent to our villa but is completely self contained.

Next to the apartment is the barbeque and games area which has a full size snooker table and a dart board for your private use. Please note the snooker table is for the use of adults only

The property is set in a beautiful large flowery walled garden with an electric gate, for which you will have a remote control. Parking is available next to the apartment for easy access.

The views are simply stunning of the mountains and sea.

We do not use the swimming pool or games area when the apartment has guests so it is purely for your own use.

We have a small well behaved old dog called Honey and a lazy cat, Alfie, who do think they own the whole property and the garden so you might find them sleeping in your lounge if you leave the doors open!

The apartment is a non smoking apartment but there is plenty of room outside!

We are ideally situated between the picturesque arty village of Altea with its historic church and quaint town houses, the popular beach and resort of Albir with its cosmopolitan bars and restaurants and still only ten minutes away from the varied types of nightlife and fantastic award winning beaches of Benidorm.

About the Owner

Hi, here is some information about us.

We are both originally from the north of England (Manchester and Hull), but met out here in Spain.

I came to Spain originally to stay for six months to work as a Thomson Rep in Salou. However, 38 years later I am still here! I never went back! I have worked and lived in many areas of Spain and settled here on the Costa Blanca 20 years ago when I met my husband who has a local building company.

Between us we have renovated the villa and grounds over the past ten years and have now recently completed the adjacent rental apartment ready for use by our family, friends and rental guests.

You'll enjoy a lovely holiday here at Casa Daniel, named after our son who has just flown the nest.

Excellent apartment with amazing views

My husband and I have just arrived home after spending a wonderful nine days at this beautiful apartment with it's gorgeous pool and amazing views. This was the first time visiting the area and both the property and location exceeded our expectations. The location is also a short drive to Albir with its sea front promenade, wide range of shops and fantastic restaurants. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would definitely book this property again, we had a great holiday and are missing it already.

Amazing appartment.

Amazing apartment what a beautiful surprise we had when we arrived stunning views and a lovely greeting from Gail . Everything about the apartment was first class and stylish and the bed was comfortable and the location is great we travelled into Benidorm most day which is a mere 15 minute drive .

We had the pleasure of meeting Adrian and Honey during our stay we had 2 fantastic weeks so impressed we booked for next year as not to be disappointed .

Thank you Gail ,Adrian, Honey and Alfie so looking forward to seeing you all next year.

STUNNING....STUNNING.....STUNNING

What can I say...Absolutely loved this place, one of the best holidays we have had...

Our party was my husband and myself and our teenage daughter and her friend. Us adults had the main bedroom which was great, lots of wardrobe space to which is often a problem with other villas we have stayed in, having the en-suit was a real bonus to, so didn't have to disturb the girls sleeping if we needed to use the toilet in the night. They were more than happy having the separate bathroom with jacuzzi bath..

The kitchen was suffice and had everything we needed..

Outside was beautiful, loved the views and the garden. The pool was great with plenty of sun loungers. My husband enjoyed playing darts and snooker as he is not a sun worshiper like myself.

The villa was lovely and clean and perfectly kept, as was the outside space, could not fault anything.

We did walk down to Alfez which took us around 20 minutes, so not too bad. I thought the town was more general shops etc rather than for entertaining in the evening, although very handy. There was a few bars and restaurants dotted around which where reasonably priced.

But I have to say one of the prettiest places I have ever been to was "Altea"....absolutely stunning!...the town is all white washed with narrow streets with lots of boutique type shops etc. The sea views are amazing..There are plenty of restaurants to choose from to and the locals can not do enough for you. There is a small square with lots of bars etc which a lots of people gathered to to socialize.(Only ten minutes up the road from the villa so not foo far away)

We also went to Albir,...Which has lots of restaurants and shops and a market worth visiting.

We did hire a car, bravely! and my husband drove my daughter and friend to a water park in Benidorm, (about 15 minutes away) which she thoroughly enjoyed...

Overall we all had a fabulous time, Gail was brilliant a great host...Thank you!!!..

I would not hesitate recommending this Villa/Area to anyone,,,superb and hopefully we and most of our family will be re booking again very soon.....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well worth a look

We are regulars to the Al Faz area and chose this property because it had AC, a pool and was in walking distance of the town.

Whilst it is a well-appointed one bedroom apartment the sitting/dining room has a sofa bed. This could be utilised especially as the property boasts two bathrooms.

It is a comfortable size for two people but as the weather generally permits greater use of the outside, four could manage.

The kitchen is of adequate size and has everything we needed. Plenty of hanging space in the bedroom and even though it is close to the main road traffic noise is minimal to non-existent.

The outside area is comfortable with seats and a table under an awning. There are sun loungers dotted around a well kept swimming pool and BBQ area.

The house is raised of the road resulting in very attractive views of the Costa Blanca coastline and mountains.

Under cover outside there is a full size snooker table. This could be either an attractive addition or something else to keep small hands from exploring. Wi-Fi and English TV are on tap.

We stayed for ten days, had no complaints and would definitely use the place again.

The only consideration might be better provision of the electric. Billing at the end of the stay might be a shock to somebody on a tight budget

Apartment spotless and bed very comfy.

Outside area and pool were a real bonus.

Fantastic Villa with stunning views. Gail & Adrian were both very friendly & welcoming. Whilst being on hand if required, still allowing you to enjoy a private holiday. We enjoyed evenings out in Albea & perfect nights in having a BBQ. We were a family of 2 adults & 2 children, we had a pefect week in this villa & would highly recommend as hope to return ourselves! ☺

Location

We wanted to be in a quiet area but near to all amenities and this area was ideal. We fell in love with the panoramic views from this property before even going inside. The property had lots of potential and outside space which we have renovated to our personal preferences.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

This area is very popular with cyclists and walkers. In Albir there is a popular walk up to the lighthouse where you can see all over the coast.

Coast/Beach:

Albir has a beautiful cobbled beach with small sandy area which is under ten minutes drive away, or a local bus can be taken from the town centre of Alfaz down to Albir. From Albir you can walk along the prom to the harbour and yacht port of the picturesque old Spanish town of Altea where you relax in one of the fabulous sea side cafes. The fantastic and award winning white soft and sandy beaches of Benidorm are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away.

Travel:

Both airports on the Costa Blanca are within easy access. Alicante is 40 minutes drive away and Valencia is 60 minutes drive.

Car hire is highly recommended to appreciate the beautiful Costa Blanca and available from the airports.

Distances:

Alfaz town centre is approx 15 minutes walk from away, therefore we would recommend a car. Everything you might need for your holiday, is available in Alfaz and Albir. There are lots shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, hairdressers and beauticians. The local Friday morning market is a must for clothes, souvenirs and fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers. There are two larger markets on Sundays, one in Benidorm and one in Albir.

Further Details:

Alfaz has a very large sports centre with gym and tennis facilities where you dont need membership and pay for the facilites as you use them. Nearby there are activities to suit every age and Listed below is some information of some of the attractions within easy reach.

Terra Mitica

Discover all that´s hidden on the Mediterranean shoars. Egypt, Greece,Rome and the The Islands, thousands of years converted into moments of fun emotion and adrenalin. You will find so many rides that you won´t have enough breath to do them all. This is the largest theme park on the coast with excitement for all ages. A spectacular day out that must not be missed!

Terra Natura

Experience a dream journey through one of Europe´s biggest and most fascinating nature parks where you can see over 1,500 animals from all over the world. Then why not cool off in Terra Natura´s Water Park.

Aqualandia

This is the largest water park in Europe. It offers fun and excitement including the famous Kamikaze slide for those dare devils, travel at great speed and enjoy the splash at the end (hold onto those trunks and bikini tops!!!)

You can also enjoy a more sedate swim in the lazy river or enjoy one of the many restaurants and bars. Aqualandia offers something for every age group.

Mundomar

A tropical paradise and exotic marine park. Why not try the Dolfin Experience where you get a chance to get up close and personal!!

Boat Trips

Cruise the coast line enjoying the spectacular views of the Sierra Helada mountain range, the bays of Albir and Altea Port with the millionaire yachts as well as the beautiful coves and beaches.

Jeep Safari

Explore the mountains and valleys in a 4 x 4. An adventure off the beaten track. Discover hidden villages and the spectacular water falls at Algar.

Benidorm Palace

Benidorm´s equivalent of Cesar´s Palace in Las Vegas,with the largest stage in Europe. The dinner and shows are nightly.

A non refundable 25% deposit in the euro equivalent is required to reserve your dates. The balance payment to be received six weeks before arrival in euros. A security/damages deposit of 300 UK pounds should be paid on arrival together with an electricity deposit of 20€ per week.

Changeover day is flexible and check in is from 14:00 to 20:00 hours. After this time there is an additional cost, depending on time of arrival.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment entrance is via a private gated driveway, which leads to the apartment, garden and swimming pool which are all on the same level. Next to the pool is the terrace area with its adjustable shading system where you can dine al fresco, sunbathe or sit in shade, and take in the stunning panoramic sea and mountain views. The apartment is ideal for both a relaxing holiday and a fun packed activity type holiday too. It is suitable for a small family or equally four adults. Outside: The garden area has four sun loungers, a dining table and four chairs. There are also three comfortable cane chairs and a small table. The 8 x 4 pool has the sun shining on it all day and is cleaned twice a week and is for the use of the apartment guests only. There is a carbon barbeque. There are two retractractable sun shades for you to escape the sun to read, relax or dine al fresco in the shade. Utility Room: We dont have a utility room but there is a washing machine in the kitchen along with an iron and ironing board. There is a clothes drying area in the garden. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Each guest has bed linen, a bath, a hand and a beach towel. There is no linen/towel change during your stay as a washing machine is provided. A laundry service or mid holiday clean can be provided at an extra cost. Other: Between the lounge and the bedroom is a small hallway with a fitted wardrobe, so there is plenty of wardrobe and storage space.
