About Claire Hills

Hi, My name is Claire and I am a working mum with two children. I am born and bred in Devon, and I have grown up in Paignton. My job means I travel a lot and I cover most of the South West and Wales, so you can usually find me on the M5!!

I can provide you with any information you require on the local area, and I will leave you as much info in the house as possible on local attractions. I wish you a pleasant stay in our quiet and friendly residential neighbourhood.

Why Claire Hills chose Torbay

I am one of the true locals, I am a Devonian through and through and I bought this property as it has a lovely back garden, great for sitting in the sun and I have adapted it to be super child friendly. The rooms are big and spacious unlike some of the newer property's. My children go to the local primary school (where I once went) and my mother lives in the next street!

What makes this house unique

The quiet and friendly neighbourhood here will provide you will a peaceful and relaxing holiday. There is ample parking outside so you will never have to worry about your vehicle. We are conveniently located just off the main road into Paignton, a short drive away from the town centre. You will hear no road noise here, only seagulls!

Amazing

The house is just want you need with kids. A 3 bedroom house and is great in terms of being near everything. It has every thing you need for the week and all you have to do it go shopping to get what food you need. Sky tv and internet and one of the best beds i have ever slept in. Will book again next year and if your need some where that has all you need. This is it.

Fabulous fully equipped house!!

We had a great stay here as the house has all you need to feel at home - Sky TV, WiFi etc. Best of all was that my two dogs were made to feel as welcome as us humans!! The fully enclosed garden was lovely to have too. In a great location for getting around and seeing both South and North Devon. Claire, the owner, made us all feel very welcome and we'd definitely stay here again!!

Holiday in Devon with our 2 Grandsons

We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Gloria who is Claire's Mum, she showed us around the house which was perfect for my husband and I plus our two Grandsons. It was rather like home from home much better than staying in B&B or hotel with two little ones we could just relax there. Perfect location for getting out to places which are never more than a short drive away. These are places we visited, Paington for amusements and fireworks, Goodrington for the Splashworld, we did that twice, the steam train and ferry to Dartmouth, Paington Zoo, Brixham for a Stunt Show, Pennywell Farm, Brixham again for The Golden Hind then on the way home Torquay and the big wheel. Good time had by all, Thank You xx

Perfect setting for a great value holiday

We love this holiday home and are very much looking forward to our next visit.

The description of it is accurate in the listing and it is lovely and clean.

It is in a lovely quiet setting with close accessibility to town and facilities.

Paignton has lots of things to see and do so you won't be bored for a minute (but if you just want to kick back and chill, you don't even need to leave the front door!!)

Claire (the owner) is really friendly and answered any questions we had quickly. When we arrived we were greeted by Claire's mum, who gave us lots of local information.

This is a family home and you get a real home from home feeling the moment you arrive. We settled in as soon as we walked through the door.

The kids loved the Sky TV and the trampoline and the outside decking is a real sun spot.

We can't recommend this property enough and have told our family and friends all about it.

You will not regret booking :-)
