A delightful mews style cottage situated right on the waterfront with fabulous views across the river to Cowes Harbour providing an exciting ever changing scene of activity from boats and shipping. The living room and kitchen are upstairs and the bedrooms, (1 double and 1 small single) and bathroom are downstairs. There is a large wrap-around balcony upstairs, with a table and seating and overlooks the waterfront. Ideal for relaxing and watching the boating activity. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, .

Notes on accommodation: The cottage is very close to the waterfront so this will have to be considered if bringing a child. There is very little barrier on the sea wall. Outside: There is a large balcony upstairs accessed from the living room. This has a patio bench with seats and a gas BBQ, and overlooks the waterfront. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. (Please bing your own beach towels) Clean linen and towels are provided weekly for stays of more than a week. The property is cleaned at each changeover.

Wonderfully private with great view

Spent A few days over New Year here. Great apartment, well equipped and really homely. Location was great, close to all amenities and many restaurants and bars 5 mins away via the floating bridge. The perfect place to kick back and unwind and rest.

Wonderful location with an excellent harbor view. Well equipped for cooking.

We were exceedingly happy with the balcony and view of the harbor. The apartment itself is very nice and nicely equipped. We were able to cook our meals in the well equpped kitchen. Not a large apartment, but the upstairs room is itself large and comfortable with an excellent view. One bedroom is very small, but is suitable for one person. The larger bedroom is just fine for two people. We were amazed to have enjoyed our visit to the island so much, and this property was part of the reason. Supermarket shopping easily available.

Best boat spotting location in Cowes, or probably UK.

Fantastic position at a narrow point on the Medina beside the chain ferry. Views across to West Cowes, up river and out to the Solent, surely the envy of any harbourmaster.

A huge volume of water traffic particularly at the weekend provides endless interest, with exceptional visibility from the upstairs living room and big balcony. We enjoyed sitting out on the comfortable cushioned chairs.

Convenient for ferries, supermarkets and eating out without needing to drive.

Car parking directly outside the front door.

This warm, well equipped upside down house was a real treat to stay in.

location, location, location

This property was just perfect for us. The location was amazing for everything we wanted. The views from the living room/balcony were ever changing. Walking to the supermarket was an easy 2 minutes journey as was the walk to the water bus. The property was clean and tidy and being only a 2 minute drive from the ferry terminal made it a perfect holiday destination.

Beautiful!

Beautifully maintained and well equipped property in an ideal location. Close to Ferry Terminal with fantastic view over the harbour - the scenery literally changing constantly throughout the day - such a relaxing place to sit and unwind.

Easy access to rest of island with bus stop and Chain Ferry close by.

We have already booked next year's break! Would highly recommend staying here.

All the places we own have fantastic sea views, it's so important to us to have the sea close by. We like our visitors to be able to share these fantastic views too.

The cottage is right on the waterfront. You can fish off the sea wall or just sit and relax on the balcony and watch the array of boats pass by.

There are a selection of shops within 2 minutes of the cottage which is very handy.

The Red Funnel ferry from Southampton is 2 minutes walk from the property.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage has an upside-down layout, so takes full advantage of the sea views from the living area upstairs. It has a large wrap-around balcony with patio furniture where you can sit outside and relax..

Distances:

The shops are just around the corner. Osbourne House is about a mile away on the way out of East Cowes.

Further Details:

In East Cowes there are Waitrose, and Co-op supermarkets, There is also a chemist and various other small shops. The closest pub is 3 minutes walk away. There is an Indian Restaurant and a Chinese take away. The "Chain Ferry" is next door to Seymour Court and goes to Cowes where there are many shops, restaurants and pubs. Please note that the Chain Ferry operates from 05.30 until 00.15 and this may not be suitable for light sleepers.
