Holwell Holiday Cottages - HOUND TOR

Bedrooms 3
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 3 nights
Popular Features
  • Internet

Hound Tor has many features betraying its original purpose. A small "mucking out" door from the kitchen to what would have been the "midden" and rings on the walls where the horses were tethered. The two wooden stays marking out where the stalls would have laid and the buttresses outside where once a bridge spanned from the Threshing Barn opposite to transport the hay for storage above the stables.

This cottage has loads of character. Downstairs it has a cosy sitting room round a large fire and spacious dining/kitchen overlooking the yard. Upstairs there is a king size bedroom with two small doubles with bed next to the walls. Central Heating Log Burning Stove dishwasher.
