Guestbook comments from the owner

Just want to say the biggest thankyou to John and Agnes for going out of their way and making our weekend so extra special. Cant praise you enough for your commitment to ensuring we had everything we needed even when we run out of drink when the shop closed or milk which they run and got from thier own fridge. Such a lovely geniune couple and cabin was perfect better than we could have imagined. We all feeling abit sorry for ourselves now though think we shud have taken your advice and stayed out the loch when it was that cold 3 days later and still feeling the cold. Sitting watching the stars in the hot tub or by the open fire was the perfect way to spend my 30th xx

Fantastic weekend break

Great stay, outstanding location in a very clean, well equipped and comfortable cabin. Met the owner, John, and he could not have been any more welcoming or helpful. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location, beautiful cabin, absolute bliss

  • 5 of 5

Where do we start........ from being greeted by a lovely lady to collect the keys to driving off home our experience was 5 star. Driving into Dellavich reminded us of being in Austria, the beautiful scenery and all the properties sitting within, blending in perfectly. Plenty of room to park our LWB van and unpack into the lodge. Although it may be small the lodge is arranged with everything you need to enjoy your holiday and room for all your belongings without feeling cramped at all. Everything very clean and well maintained. Fully stocked with utensils, pots pans and everything you need to holiday. We took lots of things we didn't use as they were provided. The hot tub was lovely, very clean and cleaned/checked daily by a lady. Only thing that didn't work was the small electric heater in the bathroom, this didn't bother us as even in April it was very cosy in the cabin. We had all the seasons over the duration of our stay and the cabin and the area was just as welcoming in any weather. We spent days visiting Oban and doing a couple of Munroes and evenings enjoying the lodge, cooking our food, a glass of wine and enjoying sitting in if raining and outside on the terrace with the chiminea going, dining on the bench listening to the wildlife looking at the beautiful landscapes and Over Loch Awe. We shall certainly be going back later at the end of summer/autumn. Never been anywhere as nice in the uk. Lovely . Mel and Amy.

Had an amazing two night stay

  • 5 of 5

Booked as an early birthday retreat for my other half. The cabin is very homely and the views are stunning. We explored Loch Awe and Avich Falls. The hot tub was an added bonus, we will be back in the future.

Spent the days around the coast and loch, hired a canoe from the boat yard and then spend the evenings under the stars in the hot tub 👍
