Tiger Lane is a quiet street off North Bar Within, close to local amenities and historic attractions, adjacent to the Georgian Quarter of Beverley. 9 Tiger Lane is fully furnished and contains all needed linens, towels, crockery and cutlery. Offering well appointed accommodation for five guests (two double and one single bedrooms), the property has off-road parking and garage and enclosed courtyard garden. Ideal base for York, the Wolds, the Coast and Hull (City of Culture for 2017).

About Sara Glover

My husband and I bought No.9 Tiger Lane approximately one year ago and spent time refurbishing the property to create a modern yet comfortable base for guests to enjoy. We have lived in a nearby village for many years so know Beverley well and what it has to offer. We were attracted to the central location of the property as it offers guests the opportunity to enjoy Beverley's attractions and amenities - especially the many places to dine - without always having to use the car.

Why Sara Glover chose Beverley

The property is so convenient for all that Beverley has to offer, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The picturesque pastures of the Beverley Westwood are right on the doorstep for picnics or evening strolls. If you want a day without the car, it's easy to hop on a bus or a train to the coast or visit the attractions of York, Leeds or Harrogate. Hull is only 15 minutes away by train where you can visit the art gallery, its many free museums or The Deep - one of the world's most spectacular aquariums.

What makes this house unique

The central location of 9 Tiger Lane allows guests to enjoy its many cafes, bars and restaurants without having to use a car as all are within walking distance. Although lying in the heart of the Georgian Quarter of Beverley, Tiger Lane is tucked away off North Bar Within, so enjoys peace and quiet, with the picturesque pastures of the Beverley Westwood also within a few minutes stroll away from the front door.

Notes on accommodation: Pets are not allowed. 9 Tiger Lane is a non-smoking property. Outside: Garden table, chairs and bench are provided. Garage can be accessed via a personnel door from the rear courtyard. Please note the carport is narrow and can take a car of up to 6' width. On street parking is available for which we can provide a parking permit. Utility Room: Automatic washing machine. Tumble dryer situated in garage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels (including kitchen tea towels) are provided. Property is cleaned/towels and linen changed on a weekly basis.

We were really pleased with the accommodation, which was spacious, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you need. It is well placed in Beverley being close to all amenities, including the bus station. We love the area and hope to come and stay again.

Great House, central location

We stayed just two nights but found the house excellent for us and 3 small children.

Sara is a super host and her house offers great value for money when you have a family like ours.

Whilst Parking is an issue, unless you have a very small car, the access to Residents on Street Parking by way of the free voucher allowed easy access.

We will be returning.

Great Modern and clean property, perfect for short or long stays.

We really enjoyed our stay in Beverley, main reason was the location of Sara's property it was in the perfect location for walking around Beverley and so close to the market square and all amenities, restaurants etc. The house was perfect for our needs and i would certainly reccommend it to anyone who wants to spend some time in Beverley.

Lovely cottage and enjoyed the stay.

The property was close to Beverley and our Australian relatives enjoyed the stay. The microbe was a bit grubby with a cup of coffee still inside, otherwise clean and perfect. Thank you.

Convenient location, lovely private patio

Well kept, fairly new townhouse on three floors. Kitchen with dining area opening onto private patio, laundry room with washing machine (small dryer is in the garage) half bath, carport & garage on street level. Living room, large bathroom w/tub only & one twin bedroom (no closet) on next level, two double bedrooms and small bath with very small shower on top floor. Neutral decor, basic furniture. Very clean.

Beverley offers many interesting independent shops and a good selection of eating places from fine dining to wine bars, bistros and cafes. Yorkshire has recently been named as the Third Best Place to Visit in the World by Lonely Planet, with its many stately homes and gardens including Burton Agnes Hall, Burton Constable Hall, Benningborough Hall and Castle Howard. The Deep in Hull is one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world, home to 3,500 fish including Europe's only pair of green sawfish, sharks and rays and, new for 2014, a colony of Gentoo penguins. For modern art lovers, Yorkshire is also home to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at West Bretton, near Wakefield, and the Hepworth in Wakefield itself, both of which are an easy hour's drive from Beverley. Once you have made a reservation, you will be asked to fill in and return a booking form and send to us together with either the 20% deposit or full payment (for holidays taken within 8 weeks of booking).
