3 Bedroom House (sleeps up to 8) in Kato Paphos. With large shared pool, close to beach & restaurants and fully air conditioned.

A beautiful family house situated in a fantastic location in Kato Paphos. It has a large shared pool with secure gated entrance, air conditioning in all rooms, an outdoor dining and barbecue area with plenty of space, making it perfect for a large family or even two families to enjoy. Facilities include free private wi-fi and a 36 inch flat screen TV with DVD player. There are over 200 TV channels, including all sport and movies included in the cost. A Cyprus style barbecue is available to use in the large open barbecue area at the front of the house, great for socialising out in the warm evening air. Indoors there is a large living/dining room with separate fully equipped kitchen.

The harbour and beaches are a 10 minute walk away from the house and an even closer 2 minute walk away is a large selection of bars and restaurants. The popular tourist attraction, Tomb of the Kings and the brand new indoor shopping mall and cinema complex are also just a short distance away. The wonderful local attractions of Coral Bay beach, Aphrodite's Rock and Adonis Baths are all within a short drive and there are golf courses, Go Karts, bowling, quad bike hire nearby for people wanting lots of activity.

Myself, my Mum, Brother and Sister bought this house as a holiday home in 2009. We wanted somewhere that we could go to as a family (that is ever-growing with children!) to create lots of happy memories.

We decided to rent it out for others to enjoy as it seemed a shame for it to be standing empty when we were not using it.

A nice comfortable property in a well situated area

We were very pleased with this property. It is well situated for the sea front and restaurants of Paphos.

The pool was very quiet and of a decent size.

This is one property we would like to return to.

Clean, homely and comfortable with everything you need.

There was everything we needed at the house. It was very helpful to have towels and beach towels to use and there was plenty of toilet paper and hand wash in both bathrooms. The house is in easy walking distance from the main centre and sea front, where there is everything you need. Paphos is lovely it's our 4th visit. There are some bars and clubs at the end of the road around the corner but you don't really hear them at all, only very very slightly on Saturday night and we didn't notice them during the week at all. Just at the end of the next road there is a little shop which has everything basic you need and the owner is nice and helpful. In the kitchen there is a water machine which is great. Take the empty bottle to the shop and then buy a new one and you have cold water on tap whenever you need it. If you hire a car it's very convenient as you can park it behind the house in the shade. Sam and Murray were very nice and helpful and even offered to post us an item that I'd left at Lara Bay on the Akamas Reserve, which would have been an hour's drive away to go and collect it for me, fortunately we sorted that out ourselves. The pool is just round the corner and is clean and well looked after. We found that sometimes we had it to ourselves and sometimes there was only a couple of other people using it, so it was very relaxing and pleasant. As it was the height of summer it was nice to not be crowded and also the water was amazingly warm, like jumping into a warm bath! Lovely stay thanks Helen.

We highly recommend being adventurous and hiring a 4 wheel drive car (you can hire buggies and quad bikes only thing is in the heat of the summer it's probably best to have the air conditioning of the car) and going out to the Akamas. If you are a confident driver carry on after a drink/lunch stop at Lara Bay on the dirt track to Lachi and come back via the main roads. It's a fun day out. If you are really brave drive to the Blue Lagoon, the roads are very rough narrow with sheer drops but you can drive ok if you are careful or maybe it's better to do a boat trip but it's worth a visit too.

Great property, fantastic Location!

This was our first time using owners direct and we chose this property due to the favourable reviews.

We certainly were not disappointed. Before we even left the UK communication from the owner Helen was fantastic and she was able to answer any questions quickly.

The property itself is located just a few minutes walk from shops, bars and the sea front. The large shopping mall is only about a fifteen minutes in the other direction. The house is close to loads of facilities but you do not hear any noise of a night time which was important to us.

We travelled with two grandparents and our 15 month old son so we spent a lot of time in the house. The air conditioning was a big bonus along with the fact it has UK TV and WiFi. While we don't usually go away to watch TV it's a great distraction for kids during the heat of the day. The property also comes with a cot and stair gate which proved invaluable.

The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and we made use of the bbq area outside. The whole property is enclosed so you can leave kids to go in and out of the house without fear of them falling down steps or into a pool. We did make use of the communal pool which is just a couple of minutes walk away. This is clean with plenty of sunbeds available.

The property has plenty of space available both upstairs and downstairs. In particular we were greatfull for the proper double beds (not two singles together) and the fact baby got to hAve his own room.

This property offers great value for money, our ten night stay here worked out cheaper than the cheapest hotel we could find and you get so much more for your money! I would certainly recommend this property to anyone staying in paphos!

Nice and quiet, with bars round the corner.

We were impressed by how lovely and quiet the residential area was, despite having bars at the end of the road. The house had nice comfortable sofas in the lounge and a very well-equipped spacious kitchen with plenty of pans, crockery and glassware. Upstairs we were pleased to find the bed to be reasonably comfortable - unlike some places we've stayed, where they're rock-hard! Bedroom and bathroom fitments were perfectly adequate rather than five-star. The outside space was relaxing and quiet and much appreciated. Although we only made use of the pool on the last day, it was clean and well cared for with pleasant surroundings.

Being beach-goers, we were very disappointed with the local Alykes beach which was awful. Vrysoudia beach much further along by the Deck bar was better, but generally we made the half-hour bus journey to Coral Bay which has a choice of three beach restaurants. Bus fare just 1.5 euros each way, pay on the bus and well worth while. We enjoyed the karaoke at the Sixties Bar every night!

The owner Helena could not have been more pleasant and helpful in her prompt replies to our questions.

Fantastic holiday in a great location

We stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute! There were 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children) and the house was very spacious, clean and well maintained. The pool area is also very clean and in a gated complex for that extra privacy and security.

The house itself is ideally located for exploring Paphos and the surrounding areas and there are numerous bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The bus station is also located by the harbour which we used to get to the water park.

The Internet TV was definitely an added bonus and having a separate water cooler in the kitchen was great. We also made full use of the barbecue facilities. The furniture in the house is also really comfy making it feel like a home away from home.

The owner, Helena, has been really helpful from my initial enquiry through to the end of our stay and is really quick at answering any queries you may have. We would definitely recommend this holiday home to friends and family and if we are back in Cyprus next year will be booking again!

excellent holiday home

Stayed for a week in September. Lovely home, very spacious and clean, there were two of us, single women, a double bed each which is brilliant as usually one ends up in a single bed. The location was absolutely fantastic, as we didn't want to hire a car, and there is definitely no need for one. So many bars and good restaurants within walking distance, and a short walk to the harbour where the local bus will take you anywhere in Paphos. The pool was lovely and clean and gated, so nice and private. Would have liked a second week there, and will definitely go back.

We wanted a property that felt like home from home and was easily accessible to everywhere that we wanted to enjoy. When we looked around this house, it fitted all the requirements perfectly!

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Pahpos at 12.8 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 30 Metres Nearest Golf : Aphrodite Hills at 26 Kilometres Nearest Ski : Troodos Mountains at 86 Kilometres Nearest Beach : at 750 Metres Car: not necessary

The house is within 1/2 mile of the seafront with harbour, designated swimming areas with changing rooms, coastal path and two small sandy beaches with seafront bar/cafes. The larger beaches - such as the large tourist area of Coral Bay, with paragliding, jet ski and banana boat hire etc. are a 15 minute drive away and has a regular bus service to and from. There are many quiet secluded and beautiful golden beaches scattered along the nearby coastline.


The nearest airport (Paphos) is within a 20 minute drive and there are many car hire companies offering cars for hire for less than 100 Euros per week. There is however, a regular bus service (and taxis) from the airport that stops just a few minutes walk from the house so a hire car is not essential.


The house is within 2 minutes walk of a large selection of bars and restaurants and the beach and harbour are a 10 minute walk.

Coral Bay is 15 mins drive away with it's fantastic golden beaches.

Latchi is approx 30 mins drive and caters for all water sports as well as being popular for high quality and affordable local food tavernas. The town of Polis is approx 30 mins by car, it is a thriving town catering for tourism and traditional crafts and with restaurants for all tastes and budgets.

Further Details:

There is a large air conditioned supermarket within walking distance of the house and a 24 hour convenience store is within 3 minute walk for those essential items.

The short walk into town provides all the amenities such as banks with ATM, tourist information, bus stops, vast choice of eateries and outdoor bar areas with sea views.
