A small but well presented accommodation.

When I arrived the cottage was clean and fresh. The wine,

milk and biscuits were a nice touch. Thank you, I enjoyed my stay, it was quiet and peaceful.

Nice little cottage but needs redecoration

  • 1 of 5

This cottage could be lovely, but sadly there was visible damp in the bathroom which caused a strong smell throughout, the shower also needed cleaning as it didn't work property. Disappointing.

Great dog friendly cottage

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in the Mousehouse for a week with our dog and had a great time! The cottage was compact but had everything we needed and made a great base from which to explore the surrounding areas. The walk to Mawgan Porth beach was lovely and we particularly enjoyed Padstow!

Ideal accommodation for two people

  • 5 of 5

We have just stayed at the mouse house and the accommodation is ideal for two people. The price for staying is very good value and the village of st. Mawgan is absolutely stunning. The lounge / kitchen is comfortable and functionable. The bedroom is cosy and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is small but has the amenity that would need. My only other observations from a decor point of view is that the paintwork in places needs a bit of freshening up. That aside which is only cosmetic would lead me to thoroughly recommend this accommodation . The owners communication is very good and they also gift you with complimentary wine ,milk , biscuits when you arrive. You have literary a stunning Japanese gardens attraction on your doorstep. This property is well worth staying in and I would not hesitate in the future to staying at again.

Little mouse house was everything we expected, very comfortable. It was in a beautiful little village of st mawgan. Very convenient to travel to everywhere we wanted to see. Everyone we met was so friendly, we would gave no hesitation in recommending this property.

Great little cottage, very well equipped.

  • 5 of 5

This is a really great, well-equipped and comfortable cottage. It is just right for 2 adults and a medium-sized dog. It is laid out as lounge/diner/kitchen. Then through to the bedroom and finally the bathroom. My wife and I and our young hound had a great week here. It is ideally located close to all local amenities, the pub (very dog friendly) and the village shop and tea room. There is a footpath just up the hill which makes a lovely morning and evening walk where, if you have the energy can be followed to Mawgan Porth where there is a very dog-friendly beach. The cottage is well-maintained and very clean. The only difficulty we had was with the television which was quickly sorted out by the owner. Newquay is a short drive away and is not over-commercialized and has plenty of restaurants and shops, a lot of which are dog-friendly too. All of the other sizeable Cornwall towns and cities are easily reachable if needed. There are many dog-friendly beaches in the area too. We thoroughly recommend the local pub and the tearoom. Food and drink is excellent and fairly priced. I particularly wanted to visit the local aircraft museum but when I went, it was closed so I was unable to do so. We thoroughly recommend this property as being ideal for a quiet, relaxing break.
