Apartment in Tersefanou, Larnaca, South Cyprus - Peaceful Location For A Relaxing Holidayin A Typical Cypriot Village. A Short Drive From The Beach

This bright and sunny apartment occupies a super position with easy access on the ground floor of the impressive Elysian Fields Spa Resort in Tersefanou just slightly west of Larnaca city.

Newly completed in spring 2010 it benefits from an extremely well located patio area which provides a wonderful place to relax and dine with views across the gardens to the pool. The property has been carefully furnished to high standards to ensure that guests requirements have all been accommodated. The apartment is accessed easily being ground floor and thus would be ideal for those with mobility issues or with young children. Once in the property there is a fully fitted kitchen which incorporates washing machine, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave along with the essentials of toaster and kettle and all crockery. The open plan layout leads on to a spacious lounge diner where two comfortable sofas, coffee table and TV/DVD are located. The apartment has satellite TV which provides movies and news in English, Arabic & French. The lounge area opens out onto a large balcony furnished with coffee table and comfortable seating for four. The balcony is enclosed making it a very safe play area for children. The dedicated dining area has been furnished with table and chairs to accommodate four easily. The apartment has window blinds fitted on all windows. There is a good sized bedroom with dressing mirror and ample storage space with large fitted wardrobes, patio doors lead out to the balcony. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and is fresh and modern with all necessary linen provided.

The apartment is fully Air conditioned and has a designated covered car parking space outside the door. The complex is small and tastefully laidout to ensure privacy. It is very clean and well maintained all year round. Guests can enjoy the use of a heated swimming pool with free sun beds. Perfect for couples, families or anyone who enjoys self catering, but with local dining facilities on hand should you want a break from cooking.

The complex bar/cafe serves food until late evening and offers sports TV as well as free wi-fi access. A bus service operates from just outside the complex. Local restaurants within walking distance offer traditional food at very reasonable prices. All of your essential supplies are available in the local supermarket or there are two large supermarkets located within a 10 minute drive for those seeking a wider selection.

The town of Kiti, about 2km away has a wider selection of bars and restaurants as well as a bank (ATM), pharmacy, and an ancient church, dating back to the 11th Century. Just beyond the town centre is the closest stretch of beach to the apartment - about a 10 minute drive away.

Larnaca is an interesting mix of commercial hub and tourist destination, The wide palm tree-lined promenade leads on to a well maintained beach with good facilities and water sports. Behind this is a mix of bars, traditional restaurants and fast food chains. Beyond the historic medieval fort is the fishing port a stretch of sea front restaurants leading to Mackenzie beach. Away from the beach, there are several shopping streets with local and pan-European chain stores. There is also a choice of late-night bars and clubs

This is a great location to explore all parts of the island including Nicosia & Northern Cyprus - you can get to anywhere on the island & back again in a day. The Airport is very convenient and easy to get to.

The village centre of Tersefanou well worth an explore - just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The main roads in Cyprus are very good and they drive on the left. it is easy to drive to any of the towns and beauty spots, all within an hour.

Great apartment in a friendly complex

We have just come home after two glorious weeks in this Lovely apartment. The location is perfect for familys like us that like to travel around whilst being near to both the beach and pool. The apartment was well equipped and both clean and modern. It was great to have a restaurant in the complex where one could relax after a day exploring. Great food and friendly staff. We are already planning our next trip and would happily stay in this apartment again.

Would use again

We stay out yearly for business in Feb and have tried a few places. This was spacious enough for two, good facilities & location worked for us. My husband is tall & fitted in the bed as no footboard (v important!). The couple who welcomed us were also very helpful. The write up did suggest more facilities on site but being out of season there was none! It was freezing too (snowed) but the heating unit did a good job.

Tersefanue is an ideal place in Cyprus from which to explore the island. It is a quaint little village with an easy pace of life yet with plenty of holiday fun within easy reach. The villagers are very friendly and helpful. We love the convenience of the area, close to beaches and hidden gems especially along the southern coast. It is only a short drive from the airport which means you arrive at your holiday destination in a very short time. Most of all we love the sunshine which is guaranteed almost all year round.

There are several beaches in the larnaca area. All the nearby beaches are gently shelving making them ideal for children. Recliners and umbrellas are plentiful and the beaches are well served by cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, toilets etc. Water sports are also available.


Larnaca airport is 10 minutes drive.

Use of a car is recommended.


5 minutes walk to Tersefanue

2Km to Kiti, Larnaca is 10 to 15 minutes drive.

Nicosia island capital 30 minutes drive.

Ayia Napa and Protaras 35 minutes drive.

The Troodos mountains in the centre of the island about an hours drive offers Skiing in Winter.

We highly recommend a nightcap or coffee at the local taverna, soaking up the local atmosphere.

larnaca provides excellent shopping with both high street stores and traditional cypriot shops. In the old town you will find shady courtyards where you can enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by.

there are many archaeological sites, museums and art galleries in the town and in the wider area of southern Cyprus are a huge range of historical sites to visit. Hala sultan tekke is just 10 minutes away, as are the salt lakes.

water sports, diving (including the famous zenobia dive site), horse riding, bowling, a camel park and a water park are all available as are walking, cycling or exploring the troodos mountains and mountain villages and the larnaca foothills.

With easy access to the coastal highways tersefanou is ideally situated both for a relaxing and fun base and for exploring this fabulous island.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is by 10am on day of departure but we can be very flexible on these times should the apartment not be in use immediately prior to or following your stay.
