The property has views of the mountains from the patio. It is a typical Spanish villa annex, and is detached and private. Wifi free. Quiet location, only 2 mins walk to beach and restaurants. The property consists of 1 double bedroom with a King double bed. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped. All rooms have ceiling fans. The property is larger than the usual Spanish 1 bed. with a lovely patio. We have a pull out bed.

Benalmadena Costa is definitely the most fun place to be at any time of the year. 2 min walking from the beach. Located in very quit area but very near bars, restaurants, etc. 10 minutes from the airport. It is a very nice location if you want to visit Malaga City (20 min by train); Cordoba (1 hour by car); Granada (1,5 hours by car), etc.

What makes this villa unique

The combination of a very quite area but at the same time your have not time to be buried: a lot of restaurants, the beach very near, aquarium, sportive port, very nice typical andalusian town, montains very near...

Notes on accommodation: This property has approx 6 steps to the entrance, so not suitable for disabled. It is very close to all amenities, supermarket, banks, dentist, many good restaurants. Outside: The property has a private patio with a swing chair, table and 4 chairs, Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included and will be laundered and cleaned upon departure.

wasnt to happy

the property was ok but very standard needs updating. we did come back a few days early because of the constant noise of the work what was going on in the next block the constant drilling i did message the owner about this whilst i was there but he didnt even reply same with the internet that wasnt working but no reply so overall wasnt best pleased when you have payed all that money

Perfect holiday spot

Stayed here for a week 6th-13th of November. The apartment was exactly as described and easy to find with the directions provided by Alain. Situated off the main road meant it was peaceful and quiet but still close enough to all amenities: shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and the beach within a few minutes walk, and a stroll to Paloma Park only a few minutes more. The interior is clean, nicely furnished with a large, comfortable bed; plenty of storage space and a spacious living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom clean with towels provided. The outdoor patio area was wonderful for a sun seeker like myself and I spent many a happy hour reading and listening to music. Alain was close by if needed, but did not hover.

All in all a very enjoyable holiday. The weather was absolutely spot on which was a benefit, not a drop of rain and Sunday reaching an impressive 24 degrees C. It's an 18 minute train journey from the airport (€2.05) to Arroyo de la Miel and a 15-20 minute walk from the train station to the apartment, taxi's and bus (number 103) available if you don't fancy the walk. I highly recommend this apartment and plan to return. Muchas Gracias Alain.

Property requires serious updating

The owner was pleasant and helpful.

Although most things appeared to be clean (little things like crumbs in the cutlery drawers), the property was hot and stuffy with a strange smell when we arrived. It is a difficult place to get a good flow of air through. After 2 days we asked the owner to remove the gas cylinder from the kitchen cupboard. This fed the gas hob. After this the atmosphere improved and i did my best to get air through the place. I can not definately say that the gas cylinder was the cause of the smell but i asked the owner to have this checked out for safety reasons for future guests. He has not replied to me about this. I feel that i should have some refund because of this and not being able to cook in the apartment.

It was also necessay (according to a sign in the kitchen) to unplug the electricity supply to the electric water heater before using either the toaster, microwave or kettle. This should not be the case and shows that the electricity system should be upgraded.

The night before we left, 4 large tiles fell off the bathroom wall at the shower at the end of the bath.

I feel that the whole place needs to be updated.

The small courtyard was pleasant to have available and the location not far from the sea front is good.

The same day you leaved the house the gas company came to the house and checked the gas installation, everything is perfect now. The tiles were properly repaired. Stayed here for a week from 16th October 2017 and I must say its a fantastic location,lovely outside area and all in all a very nice apartment.

The owner was very helpful as we arrived very early which was not a problem,he said it was ok to go straight to apartment,where i could drop off our luggage and take advantage of a full day of exploring the area!

Nice touch having a shopping trolley in villa, supermarket just up the road, two minute walk to the front (beach)where there is plenty of places to eat and drink.

All in all 10 out of 10

Nothing was too much trouble with the Owner found him very helpful, I would highly recommend this apartment

What a little gem!!!

We arrived late at night and found Alan's directions for finding the apartment were spot on. The lovely little apartment has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday and the owner Alan is such a lovely helpful guy. There were 3 adults in our party and the apartment was perfect for us. It is only a few minutes away from the beach and the shops and bars yet far enough away to be nice and quiet at night. We will be booking for next year as soon as possible.

Lovely Villa Great Location, Young Couple

I stayed with my Fiancé end of Aug, the villa is in a great location, once we found where it was as it is just behind some aparments. Villa has all the facilities needed. it is 5 mins towards the beach, but for cheaper drinks we went to Bonanza Square which is only a 20min walk from villa. Me and my Fiancè met Alan the owner and he could not of been more helpful and friendly, he lives close by which is also handy should he be needed. Villa came with pleanty of bath towels too. Terrace was lovely to sit out in which we did one time for breakfast, also has two sun lounges which is great as the terrace is in the sun. Bed was really comfy, there was only 1 pillow each, but this not a problem as it was still so comfy, should you prefer 2 pillows im sure that could sorted as Alan is really helpful. Bedroom and front room have ceiling aircon which kept us cool. We had a fantastic stay and would consider coming back to this villa in the future. Thank You Alan xx

The beach is a 2 min walk and is close to Castle Bil Bil. With restaurants on the beach.


We don't recommend having a car, as the local transport is very reliable and cheap. Also, most facilities are within walking distance. Malaga airport is a 20 min drive.


The village of Arroyo De La Miel is a 20 min walk.

Further Details:

Paloma Park is a 10 min walk, it has a Wednesday Car boot sale. Also we are very close to Selwo Dolphin Marina.

Puerto Marina is 25 min stroll along the beach.
