About Isobel Wiseman

We (Phil and Isobel), relocated to Deal from London 9 years ago with our young family after falling in love with the area. It is such a peaceful and relaxing place, bursting with history and with fantastic pubs and restaurants and so much to do. We decided to start up a holiday letting business to share our wonderful home town and all it has to offer. We have only just purchased this beautiful property in May this year and are really looking forward to making your stay in Deal a wonderful one.

Fantastic apartment a stones throw away from the sea

We wanted somewhere by the sea to spend New Years Eve and Day, and found this apartment on Home Away and thought it looked ideal. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 children and the apartment was the perfect size for us. Very nicely decorated, clean and tidy and the location was ideal about 100 yards away from the beach. Although the weather wasn't kind to us, we did manage to walk along the beach and on the pier on new years day. All in all I can't recommend this property enough, it was perfect. Thank you Isobel and sorry again about the kettle! ;)

Generally a nice property in a perfect location

We really enjoyed staying in this property due to the layout, location and the convenience of the parking space. We didn't appreciate that the bedroom & bathroom were downstairs but this is not a problem as those rooms are much cooler for sleeping. The bathroom is small & narrow but fully functional with a lovely pressure and heat from the shower. A lot of limescale on the shower doors and a new nicer looking shower head would be welcome.

We noticed that the cupboards in the kitchen needed cleaning out somewhat and the red sofa in the lounge is very marked. The wifi is very good but the addition of a hdmi cable hanging loose from the immovable TV would be great to watch iplayer etc via a laptop, tablet or chromecast.

We think the description of luxury apartment is stretching things slightly but we would stay in the property if in the area again.

Great location for the S.E. coast of the UK

Really enjoyed meeting you and staying in your flat. Everything was perfect for our stay and thank you for the wine and Madiera cake. The only thing I could suggest are some black out curtains for the High Street bedroom.

You have decorated the flat beautifully. And the private parking was such a bonus. It really was the perfect location for us to explore east of Deal.

Lovely property in a wonderful location

Our stay was lovely and relaxing and just what we were looking for. Isobel was so helpful and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

The property had everything we required and the welcome treats were really appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday.

We were warm and comfortable and the apartment was very well equipped - having WiFi made all the difference with a teenage son!!

Deal town itself and walking along the prom were like stepping back in time and I enjoyed all the independent shops but even Sainsburys and Co-op were easy walking distance. I also loved being 5 minutes walk from a castle - how cool is that?

We would recommend 81 Beach Street Restaurant particularly if you have a Taste Card. We had an amazing meal which was very reasonable and lots of vegetarian options too. It does get busy though so you will need to book.

Having our own parking space made all the difference but the space is not that long - whilst it fitted my Toyota Yaris fine any longer car would end up sticking out on the pavement.

Our aim for the week was relaxation and castles - both of which we did in abundance with two visits to Dover Castle as well as Walmer and Deal castles. The sun joined us for the majority of the week too which made for some great walks along the beach.

Light and spacious. Excellent.

This was my third stay in this apartment. As ever, clean, warm and the thoughtful welcome pack of milk and a bottle of wine! So spacious and the big bay windows make it bright and open. Lovely contemporary design with wooden floors and underfloor heating.It has its own parking space, but this time I arrived by train and it is only a 5 minute walk from the station. Even closer to coffee shops and convenient stores and the seafront just 2 minute walk to the top of the road. Excellent.

Outside: The apartment has a much envied off street parking space to the right of the house and secure space to lock up bikes. Although we have no garden, there is plenty of public open space nearby. The beach, pier, pubs with outside areas and the Walmer Strand are just a few minutes walk away. Utility Room: Storage space under the stairs with hoover, iron and ironing board, extra seating and z-bed if needed during stay. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: High quality bed linen and towels are provided. The property is cleaned on turn around and an additional cleaning service may be available for an additional charge. For holidays of over 1 week clean linen and towels are provided. Other: There is a separate WC off the living area for convenience.
