Tim and Roz started Cherished Cottages in 2011 with the aim of representing only the highest calibre luxury properties in the heart of St Ives. Starting with two cottages in the famous Downalong area, we now have a collection of handpicked 5-star standard properties each offering something special, whether it is a spectacular sea view, fantastic location with parking, or the opportunity to stay in a traditional fisherman’s cottage.

Over the last couple of years the ‘Cherished family’ has been extended with the addition of Sarah, Christine, Amy and Jo, and each member of the team has their part to play in offering the highest customer service; this high level of personal service is backed up with our easy to search website and a booking system that allows you to book at a time convenient for you, day or night! Of course we also love to speak to our customers too, so we are available in the office 6 days a week, and we have an emergency contact number for those issues that just cannot wait till office hours.

We have very much enjoyed our stay at 14 Barnaloft apartment over the Easter bank holiday. The apartment is perfect in every way - we could not fault it there is nothing that Jayne and Steve have forgotten whilst lovingly renovating the apartment! The view is unbelievable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We fell in love with St Ives some 20 years ago, what a treat to return 20 years later to celebrate a 40th birthday and stay in the wonderful 14 Barnaloft the apartment is fab what a view!!! Thank you for a great stay hope its not 20 years before we return again.
