Home from home

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cottage, with the books and all the other touches that made it feel like a home and it was in a brilliant location for exploring the Purbecks. The breakfast welcome box with goodies from 'The Salt Pig' was a lovely thought. Very good wifi was a big plus with the younger members of the party! Hope to be able to return in the future!

Lovely Wareham location

  • 5 of 5

Great house just off the centre of Wareham. 2 minutes from Sainsburys. Everything you need and well stocked. Website photos don't show TV but it is there! Lovely owner and a surprise welcome pack which saw us through the next morning. Plenty of parking on the next street down, loading / unloading outside the front door not a problem.

Great stay had by all ...

  • 4 of 5

Loved this house, very comfy, home from home, so convenient for town amenities with a Sainsbury's on your door step and good Co-op in town too. Great pubs for food and entertainment. Know the area well but had never ventured into Wareham and we thoroughly enjoyed it for being so central for all major routes to so many places, yet rural too. Loads to do even in walking distance. Good bus services. Owners very helpful, amenable and attentive when needed. House and kitchen well equipped, most cooking items available, great produce available from local area too. Great Wi-Fi for our family needs, phone signal sketchy downstairs but no problems upstairs. Great shower, lovely rustic feel to property. Peaceful and homely. Will definitely be back.

Wareham Week

  • 5 of 5

We had a super stay in this cottage. It was far more spacious than I thought being open plan downstairs. This was good for self catering as whoever was cooking was still included and could talk to the others. Owner was very helpful. We enjoyed being in the town so we could pop out to the shops, or go and feed the ducks, or walk the walls in the evening. Hope to book next year. Thank you to Rachel

Lovely Holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay in this old & creaky cottage for a week in August. The weather was typically British & a little unpredictable but it did not stop us enjoying Wareham, Studland, Corfe Castle & Weymouth during our week. The cottage is comfortable & well equipped. The owners live next door & are very welcoming & provided us with great tips for places to eat & see. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, loved the cottage & will be booking again next year.
