About Coralie and David

My name is Coralie and I was bought up in this area. It offers a wealth of things to do and places to visit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Coralie and David purchased this barn in 2014

Why Coralie and David chose West Midlands

The Golden Valley is a beautiful place to be and ideally located for the Black Mountains and, one of my favourite places in the world, Hay on Wye, with it artisan shops, second hand book haunts and great foodie cafés. The River Wye and Offas Dyke path are close by.

What makes this barn unique

Great rural location with lots of walking routes including Offa's Dyke Path and the Black Mountains and in easy walking distance to the pub! The local village shop opens in the mornings selling local produce and Hay on Wye is just 6 miles away

Meadow End is comfortable and well equipped and visitors can picnic down at the lake behind the house. It also has a good utility room which is v warm all year round so useful for wet shoes and dogs!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We were a group of 14 (6 adults, 4 children) and we had a lovely stay at Meadow End over the Christmas period. The barn is lovely, warm and spacious with lots of character. Everything you can think of is provided and the surroundings are beautiful. There are lots of walks straight from your doorstop, including one to a superb local pub! They do great food and accommodated us all for an evening meal on Christmas Eve. I would happily recommend the barn."

Beautiful house, lots of space and a lovely village.

  • 5 of 5

We were a large family party and this was just right for us, a large room we could all share and enough nooks and crannies with seating for those who wanted a space to read or be quiet. The garden was just right with space to eat outside on a sunny day, and if we didn't fancy cooking there was a lovely friendly historic pub round the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Annaul family get together

  • 5 of 5

Our annual weekend with our son and daughter and their families.

The Barn was so spacious with plenty room for our 4 granddaughters to romp around . Bedrooms were great with comfortable beds and good showers . Kitchen fully equipped.

The star of the show is the living space on the 1st floor , the old wooden beams and the height of the roof , the little bedroom in the pitch of the roof up a spiral staircase, big squashy armchairs and books everywhere.

The weather was good enough for us to have a barbecue outside with the house martins shooting back and fore into their nests in the eaves.

It was hard to tear ourselves away.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.
