Beach Boys has been totally reconstructed and is now a stunning modern glass fronted beach feel house due for completion in July 2017. It will have a new Paramount Luxe Mirror Heated pool; 8500 x 3700 x 1500mm located within a south facing courtyard together a hot tub, loungers and an outside dining table and chairs. The garden is completely enclosed and has a large trampoline sunk into the ground. Access is permitted through a coded pedestrian gate and double gates for cars. Parking for around 3/4 cars. It has 6 bedrooms (2 doubles located upstairs with sea views and ensuites; the master bedroom has its own balcony), an open plan lounge/kitchen with log burner and wide screen TV commanding impressive sea views together with a large conservatory housing a 10ft dining table. There are two large balconies upstairs, one with an impressive sea view and the other with views over countryside. 4 Bedrooms downstairs (one with an ensuite, two double rooms/twin and the remaining bedroom houses 2 sets of bunk beds). A huge glass fronted galleried entrance hall complete with log burner. A downstairs large family bathroom. A boot room and downstairs utility room. A large games/television room with wide screen TV. Fantastic house for a family holiday

We stayed at beach boys for the last week of the summer holidays. We were two families with children and had the most amazing holiday. The house lay out was fantastic and the trampoline proved so popular with the children. The furnishings were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy on arrival. Really well equipped kitchen and amazing views across to the sea in one direction and fields in the other.

Children loved the pool as well, it was a bit chilly for the grown ups!!!

We so hope to come back and stay here, we had a lovely holiday and can't wait to go back.

Beautiful house, relaxing retreat!

Perfect for our large family group. Two rooms with televisions while the Olympic Games was being shown was great. No tv's in bedrooms also good. Kitchen and balcony eating area were a favourite. Looking forward to our return.

Lovely large house in perfect location for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed at this property for one week in May 2016 for a family holiday. Beautiful house in a lovely location. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil we could possibly need and we all especially loved the extended dining area off of the kitchen with an outside area. Very comfortable reception room upstairs which was huge with lovely sofas and cosy throws. Bedrooms on ground floor were all very well presented, clean and welcoming with snowy white bed linen and lovely clean bedding. We were all so comfortable in this house and so much space. We made good use of the table tennis table and the trampoline which was especially good as built in to the ground so no risk of falling off. Lovely safe garden for children with secure gate. The perfect home for some quality family time. So relaxing. Lovely barbeque in outside area with seating if weather good. We had a wonderful week here and look forward to returning.

Outstanding holiday

We have just left Beach Boys after a fabulous 8 night stay. We are a family of 4 (7 year old and 2 year old) plus grandmother and the house was perfect for all of us! Amazing location overlooking the bay so stunning views in very upmarket Constantine Bay... 10 min walk to beautiful beach with lovely clean sand, rock pools and good waves for body boarding! Lovely village shop and 10 min drive to Padstow. The house is huge (the biggest walk in wardrobe ever) so plenty of room. A lovely upstairs kitchen leading to a sunny conservatory and roof terrace so great for eating. The pool, trampoline and garden are wonderful for children. We had an amazing week particularly as we were lucky with the weather. Liked the gated garden so very safe for children and private. Nice welcome pack on arrival and bed linen clean and fresh. We would love to return! 😀

Incred!! What a week!

Beach Boys is just stunning - the MOST fantastic view from the kitchen/living spaces imaginable... The weather man predicted rain... It was sunny all week, which must mean that it's actually heaven, rather than Cornwall!! Weather defying, truly relaxing, perfectly located, spotless, SO well equipped... We had everything we needed to celebrate birthdays and general family loveliness. Definitely a holiday destination worthy of office bragging upon your return... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Most enjoyable, relaxing holiday yet!

We had the most enjoyable weeks holiday at Beach Boys I've ever had in this country, so much so, we have booked another holiday within a week of returning home, returning to Constantine Bay and wonder why we have tried family holidays in France with two young children!

We had a week of good weather, but feel there is plenty left to explore in the area, with two children under four and without spending hours driving in the car. There is a good local pub nearby, the village stores and within walking distance of the beach, with further facilities in St Merrion.

The house was clean and superbly equipped for larger parties and the children thoroughly enjoyed the trampoline and splash pool. We will hopefully return to Beach Boys itself after the refurbishment. Maria Freeman, the owner is very personable making the holiday run smoothly.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Constantine and its neighbouring beaches are fantastic for surfing and body boarding.. There are many surfing schools in the surrounding areas. It is also a walking paradise as it is located on the North Cornwall coastal path. You may complete the Trevose Head Circular walk. The walk starts at Constantine Bay and follows the coast path around Trevose Head, passing Booby's Bay and a collapsed cave, before reaching Dinas Head and the lighthouse. The route follows the coast path around Trevose Head before reaching the sandy beaches of Mother Ivy's and Harlyn Bay. The return route is fairly quick, following lanes back to Constantine. approx 6 miles

Coast/Beach:

Constantine Beach is a sandy beach perfect for surfing, body boarding, rock pooling & sunbathing. It is approx 5/10 mins walk away from Beach Boys. Treyarnon Bay (less than 1 mile away) is a 10 min walk. Boobys Bay, next to Constantine Bay is approx 10 mins walk. Porthcothan Beach 2 miles. St Mothers Ivy beach 1 mile. Haryln Beach 1 mile away. Trevone Beach 3 miles. Bedruthan Steps 4 miles. Mawgan Porth 5 miles. Watergate Bay Beach 8 miles. Newquay Beach/Fistral is approx 11 miles.

Travel:

Newquay airport is around 10-15 mins drive away and there are frequent flights to many destinations within the UK. Constantine Bay is accessed by the M5 and the A30 and is approx 2 1/2 hours from Bristol. Bodmin Parkway train station is approx a 25 minute drive. There is a bus stop 1 min away outside the local shop which will take you directly to and from Bodmin parkway station.

Distances:

Treyarnon Bay is home to the local Youth Hostel, in a great location overlooking the sea, where you can get a fab casual breakfast, day/evening meals - great for children/adults, only a 10 min walk. The Treglos Hotel and Trevose Golf club are a walk away.St Merryn village 2/3 mins drive from Constantine & offers a good selection of pubs, restaurant, shops, bakery, fish and chip shop, garage/fuel/hardware store & Rafferty's Wine Bar . It is also home to the Cornish Arms pub, owned by Rick Stein.

Further Details:

Nearby Padstow offers a wide selection of pubs, shops and restaurants. It is home to Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, Deli, fresh fish counter and fish & chip restaurant as well as Paul Ainsworth's "No 6" Michelin star restaurant.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Unfortunately no pets allowed and strictly a No Smoking Policy inside Beach Boys house. We are sorry but we do not run a cancellation policy therefore we recommend travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances where you may need to cancel your stay. Outside: The front and back gardens are fully enclosed and secure for children. A BBQ is available. There is 10 seater Rattan dining set with parasol, a bistro chair set and sun loungers for the outside patio . The front garden has a large trampoline that has been dug into the ground for safety. There is an outside tap with a hose attachment to wash off any sand from the beach. Parking for approximately 4 cars. The drive way is entered through double gates and there is a separate coded pedestrian gate. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: House towels & linen included. The property is cleaned weekly after departure. Beach towels are not provided. If you stay for 2 weeks an extra maid service & refresh of linen/towels will be offered.
