A 2 storey, 2 bedroom cottage adjoining the main farmhouse, set in extensive grounds of natural beauty, offering views across the countryside and still used for farming beef cows.

Sandy beaches, Coastal areas and the stunning Rose Granite coast can be reached in approx 40 mins driving, and further afield for places such as Le Mont St Michel.

Easy access to local towns of Bourbriac and Guingamp for your shopping and exploring historic sites.

Other local attractions, for your leisure and pleasure include Golf, Fishing, Walking, Painting and much more.

You have your own garden for relaxing in after your day exploring with furniture and barbecue. Parking available for 2 cars at front of property.

We bought this property in 200 and have lovingly renovated and updated both the main farmhouse and the cottage.

We love spending our free time in France to relax and explore the area of natural beauty, walking the countryside and coastlines.

Notes on accommodation: Coat Kermoal is part of the local farming community and was once occupied by a key farming family. It is set in the heart of the beautiful Breton Countryside with extensive grounds as well as views across them. It is easily accessible, offering seclusion from the main roads with its own private drive. This cottage has been restored and renovated offering a comfortable stay for couples and families alike, all year round. Whilst it has been modernised it also retains the original charms of exposed beams in the kitchen, lounge and bedroom areas. No pets allowed. Outside: The cottage is situated behind the main farmhouse and at the end of its own driveway. Set in a farming hamlet with extensive countryside ideal for walking and exploring. Outside the cottage is an area suitable for the parking of 2 cars. Own garden opposite to relax in with barbecue and furniture for those endless summer days and nights. Surrounding roads are ideal for those who like to explore by cycling, walking or driving. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen supplied per person staying. If taking a 2 week break or longer, cleaning and fresh linen can be supplied weekly for an additional cost of 40 euros, (payable on arrival).

Relaxing family holiday

This was a great location for a real rural get away, but still close enough to the beach and other sites to make it a great place to stay and visit. The cottage has really good gardens, the kids could play safely outdoors and we were able to enjoy a wonderful barbeque and relaxing drink. Great walking and cycling from the cottage door. Lovely local village with possibly the best bakers we have ever been to.

We got to try some unique local patisserie specialities. Christine made us very welcome and was helpful with advice on the local area. The layout is really good for families with a nice large lounge and cosy bedrooms upstairs. A well equipped kitchen and even somewhere to store our bikes! Thank you.

We had a very peaceful and tranquil time at this lovely cottage. We found it had everything we could possibly need and was spotlessly clean on arrival. The garden was a delight with plenty of space for our three kids to play and explore the owner was kind enough to show the kids around. We received a lovely welcome and a welcome pack from the owners and their agents even though we arrived later then we anticipated. The kitchen is an open extension of the dining and comfortable lounge area which has a large TV /DVD player and satellite TV. There is more than adequate crockery /glassware/cutlery and cooking utensils and in addition there is an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. The spacious bedrooms provide large storage for clothes etc. The bathroom also provides lots of space and plenty on hot water. There was plenty of towels and bedding provided. The agents were a phone call away for advice or any emergencies.

The cottage is about 2 mile away from the nearest village that has all the essentials. There is plenty to do if you are willing to travel about an hour. There are lovely beaches at Binic and Trebeurden. The granite coast is worth a visit the kids enjoyed the rocks and beaches. The medieval town of Dinan was lovely and worth the travel. If you are feeling a little more adventurous Mont St Michel is a spectacular place about 1.5 hours away. However if you just want to relax the cottage has everything you need and there are some lovely market town shorter distances. A car is essential as most shops are 10 mins drive, the nearest supermarket was about 15 min drive the nearest Lidle was 20 mins drive.

Guingamp offers shopping on a larger scale with supermarkets (Carrefour, Le Clerc etc), a selection of smaller shops and shopping outlets for clothes, furniture etc.

Walk along the canal for a relaxing break. Open Market on Fridays in Guingamp.

Callac is a smaller village, with supermarkets and weekly markets to choose your goods from.

A 25% (non refundable) deposit is due along with booking form. The final payment is due 8 wks prior to your arrival date, plus a £100 /100 euro security deposit (against breakages) which is required in cash at check in.
Cancellation charges:
More than 8 wks before arrival - deposit forfeited
Between 4 - 8 wks prior to arrival- the deposit and 25% of the holiday cost is forfeited
Within 4 wks of arrival- all holiday costs are forfeited.
Security deposit payment will be returned in full at any time of cancellation

Changeover Day:
Changeover day flexible (dep on availability). Arrival time after 3pm. We politely ask you vacate your property by 10am on the day of departure.
Please leave the cottage clean and tidy or take our final cleaning at a cost of 40 euros (payable on arrival)
